Drunktaining
is the art of entertaining or being entertained while drunk. For example a drunk person may post when no one is around, and they have to drunktain themselves. That is sad and frustrating Crying

So, what exactly is a gayberry?

Quote from wiles :

It's a term or any kind of berry or fruit that a person would use to make a fruit smoothie to drink, instead of drinking beer, tequila, or vodka.
Some people even speak Gayberrolian.

Danger Den block, swiftech pump, tubing from home depot, the res is one of those 2 bay plexi ones that you can see from the front. And i don't remember the manufacturer of the rad, but it fits 2 120mm fans. So it's all custom. I used the Feser coolant (blue) for the liquid part.

I'm 32 with the computer of a 12 year old, but some how I'm ok with that.

I'm debating cooling the video cards, but I have dual 4870x2's so I'd have to buy all new equipment and to be honest, there's nothing they can't handle as far as graphics, so it would more be to increase my e-peen than anything else. i prolly won't do it.

This is the type of thing only a real geek could appreciate. I am impressed, sir.
Fairly similar to a system I helped a friend make, but we used the UV Green. Feser FTW!

Funny thing is that eventhough I know about all of this, and have built systems, I don't have one like that of my own (I do ZERO gaming)...so it's just geekery.

Speaking of which, freakin' sold my green laser pointer last night at the bar for $15...bought it for $6.50...lol. Almost got him to buy my blu-ray one for $55 (paid $30)...that would have been great. Now just to wait for more to arrive (I hate waiting a month for shipping....grrr).

Nono HTC Hero all the way babay! (It's an iPhone killer)

I toyed with the Hero...quite impressed. Messed around with that and the Instinct HD. The HD isn't that much more of a step up aside from the higher res screen (which is actually smaller than the original), increased sensitivity and the HDMI out (which worked surprisingly well).

The Hero blew the HD away though. Super sensitive screen, very high res (what do you expect from HTC?), flawless Android implementation and actually had some weight to it (the HD actually got lighter...which I didn't like).

Not saying I'm going to upgrade my original Instinct quite yet, but the Hero is quite the promising device.

You wrapped that review up nicely. Yuppers, the Hero is pretty awesome and the Android is so much better than anything I have used before. Sprint wasn't too excited that I nixed part of the TOS, but they wanted the accounts enough that they finally agreed.

Thanks. I didn't really have the opportunity to play with it TOO much, ie: hook it up to QPST/Bit Pim and start digging... Besides, I was too busy teaching the BB phone tech about it (he was CLUELESS)...

If I were to choose though, right now I'd say the Hero is the best Sprint has to offer for the techie. If you liked the Instinct, and want to look more like an iPhone...get the HD (it's really not that impressive, imo).

You lost me with the "QPST/Bit Pim" stuff. laugh out loud I'm not a tech guy but I love gadgets and technology. Looking like an iPhone wasn't important to me, I had already considered and dismissed the iPhone since my usage is so heavily business, and the Hero's combined phone/data/web capabilities with Google apps is fantastic. Technology is now getting to where I need it to be so I can carry out whatever I need for a client right from a cell phone. Beats the heck out of the iPhone, IMO.

Wow. I have a single 4870 that does the job for gaming. No more upgrades unless I can get a GTX 275 for a net cost of under $50 after selling my 4870. I'm sick of ATi-specific game issues and their drives not supporting separate profiles for games the way nVidia does. I can't justify anything high-emd since my motherboard doesn't want to let me push my E6750 past 3.4 GHz and threw a fit in terms of stability when I tried to drop some 1066 XMS2 in there.

Regarding the heater thing, thanks, haha. I could probably just have cranked my fan to 100% instead of letting the motherboard manage it, but I'm a bit of a noise freak. Now that I live off campus I have an AC unit in the window. I'm leaving it there for the winter and running some foil tubing from it directly to the front and side intakes on my case just to see how low I can get temps.

http://www.facebook.com/DWells55 - my profile and albums are set to private, so just send me a friend request and once I accept you'll be able to see the album. It really was beautiful seeing the State House lit up and all the fires on the river, as well as the fact the whole thing was to raise money and awareness for breast cancer. I want to go back next year with my tripod and actual camera.

BitPim=FTW when you're looking at filesystems and directory trees.

For use when unbricking, modding, setting up PAM...etc.

Razr's are the easiest to RTN (return to factory defaults).

Off to do some actual work. Be back in around 9.
