Anyway, does anyone have any experience with carpet beetles or warehouse beetles??? Hopefully I'm not going to gross everyone out (since we've already chatted about fem hygene products, etc)... DH has some rugs that he got handed down to him years ago from his grandparents. Supposedly very valuable rugs (although I'm not wild about them). But that aside, we had them stored for some time, then in our house for awhile, and now we have them back in storage. A couple years ago I also started noticing occasional carpet beetles throughout the house (i had to go online to identify them). They are tiny little things and go through a larvae and beetle stage. I have a feeling that we got them when we brought the old rugs in, but now I can't get rid of them. (Gross, I know!!!

With my love of deals & couponing, I have been brainstorming ways to incorporate that into some kind of MM for me (besides supplying myself with a lifetime supply of HBA). It seems like there would be some kind of position at non-profits or shelters or food banks that procure the supplies needed to operate.
Does anyone have experience or know someone that does this kind of thing, if it even exists? I'd love to run my own business, but I wouldn't want to do any kind of couponing classes or list...the market seems to be saturated with that kind of stuff.

I dont believe such a thing exists or that you would get paid -- either for you time or the items. Most non profits run off donations - The big food banks (Americas 2nd Harvest) that give to the medium food banks (FB of central & eastrn NC -exmpl) that give to the shelthers/pantrys that give to those in need.
Inspired by an Oprah show where a woman opened a food pantry in her church -- I decided I could go into biz for myself & did all the research for opening my own non-profit 'basic needs' pantry. The startup costs aren't too out of reach, I can stock it w/ my finds x4, get what I cant find from the food bank for .17c a pound, get governement & Private grants --- but the thing that stopped me was the fundraising (to pay myself & staff) --- When you add that on top of the deal finding & buying & serving I didnt think I could do it...

CVS has some good ones this week too - stay free bogo with various stores coupons (2/10, 2 beauty, etc) are money makers... 99 cents playtex tampons... FAECB kotex liners, MM with Kotex coupon (which I forgot to give sigh) ... besides that minor screw up... damn soap that I thought was on sale for .79 wasn't and rang up 2.49
(finally) Went and saw The Dark Knight tonight with some free tickets I got from a grocery store deal - wow that was good
Came home and found that my big picture frame of my New Zealand/Australia pics from last year was on the floor, broken... so really moping about now
Now I need to go get my coupons ready for doubling tomorrow... so much to do - told the b/f to get another g/f so I could get a break from life once in a while
