I love my Ped Egg. I basically had extra ECBs to spend that were expiring so I bought one. I wear flip flops all summer so my heels get like yours! I use it every week or so and have noticed a difference. So much easier than a pumice stone too! I even bought replacement blades for mine, and bought my sister one for her birthday! I highly recommend it! A little gross to empty, but the results are worth it!

I know what you mean about the meds. My yorkie is so high strung we had to put her on prozac, which we got filled at RiteAid. It's so funny..we drop off the prescription and a little while later they are announcing "PEPPER, your prescription is ready for pick up" laugh out loud and then I have to go up to the counter and I just KNOW people are thinking my name is PEPPER!

And vet bills...forget it...we had a Maltese and the yorkie. The Maltese got hit by a car while being watched for us...he had to have emergency surgery $1,000. Same time, Pepper goes into her first heat. Maltese comes home from hospital with stitches from his chest to his wangy dangy and a cone around his head...I don't separate them because he is drugged and in pain..leave the room for two seconds and WHAM..they are doin 'it'...2 weeks later, Pepper is throwing up in the mornings...several weeks later we are having a C-section for her at 3 in the morning...another 600.00...Got them both fixed after that!
wow, your babies are even wackier than mine! OMG
what did the puppies end up look like? i don't think i've ever seen a maltese/ yorkie cross, but it sounds like they were at least cute. Smilie

omg until you mentioned the flip flops i never attributed them to my foot issues this summer! my heels are definitely not what they were a few months ago, i have that same 'sticking to the carpet' feeling as you are all reporting. if i ever need to burn ecb's i will for sure look into a ped egg. it's had so many great reviews here!

Target has them too. 10 Durex should cover it. Or a small bag of Tidy Cat litter and a Breeze sytem q, then you'd only need 2 Durex. laugh out loud

I LOVE it - I have used pumice stones, sandpaper like things with handles and even the very scary razorblade type thing... the ped egg is great. Don't overdo it though, someone posted a while back that they had gotten hurt lol... Secret if you're unsure about it, get it for your DH, it has worked wonders on my DBF's icky feet Wink

Rofl2 Pepper, my Yorkie, is CRAZY, (but cute!) It's just as well we did get her fixed cause I think her genes are crossed or something. She can be quite insane at times. The puppies were beautiful. 2 looked just like yorkies, but the other two were a solid caramel color and had the most beautiful wavy hair and were so pretty. We called them Morkies...

I will be so sad when we no longer use Durex as currency. I used a few tonight myself. Boring run but I did get to see Steph, we havent' met up in a couple of months. Her target gives me heebie jeebies.

I'm tired but refuse to sleep yet. Must finish this stupid photobook. Also on DS alert, he's been really off past 24 hours, not sure what's up but we are holding off on the new insulin until we figure it out. We were going to do it tonight anyway but I really wanted to meet Steph for a bit and once hubby is asleep he's a zombie. So we are scheduled to do it tomorrow as long as his numbers are a little better.

The strips coming in from everyone are really helping, thanks so much all. Each mailing is a day for us. Just remember to keep the strips in the vial.

Hubby reminded me today he doesn't like pop tarts. Whatever.

I'm setting up a stand for my nephew to sell rice crispy treats and pop tarts at my yard sale along w/ bottled water and sodas (thanks for the soda idea DM)...

Maybe you can set up a little table for ds to do the same (of course he'll need 'help' at his age) but it would be so cute everyone would buy from him and you would make some good money.

DS, you crack me up!

On ds...what happened with the 2nd opinion? You posted you were torn, but that was when you had to stay up all night and I didn't see anything after that. Are they the ones that gave the new insulin?

I thought of this when someone was asking for ideas for yard sale..But I didnt write it down thinking people would think I am a weirdo to sell food stuff...When target had the last kelloggs GC deal I bought a lot of boxes and then sent them with my DH to his work so people can take whatever they liked..Didnt ask for any money but people still paid....And just this week DH was telling me that people were asking for stuff at his place..Smilie...

Hi there I have the original TGIF that does scan. Please email me (for those of u who have my email) if you need it. I have sent it to a few of you already. We will be in and out of town all week so I apologize in advance if you pm me and I do not respond promptly . Like the HM dvd IPMQ's it has a single barcode. I used it at Publix fine..no beeps. They were $3.19-$3 =.19. The steak quesadillas were $2.99-$3 no beeps either. I checked 4 WG's here and none had the "blue " bottles one needs to buy to get the better JF deal. I think this is a great week for me to get some "chores" done since the deals are not that enticing to me.Cool I am glad to see that some of you are getting some great deals.hug

I wouldn't normally sell food at a yardsale, but i think since we're hopefully getting such a good deal this next week and will hopefully get alot of snacks, I think it would be ok to let a kid sell them at a 'lemonade' type stand. As for my nephew, he is 6 and the money he earns would be his....last time he sold bottled water and did very good.

Sorry-I've been on vac just hanging with the kid and it's been a little nuts here. They were great. They did recommend the new nighttime insulin, it will level him out a bit more. He's been having way too many nightime lows, serious ones and we need it to stop. I'm having a hard time with the new one, grasping it, as we just got used to the old one. Anyway, so we really think they are better, more research oriented, more focused on what's best long term and more resources. The trouble is, they have no assistance programs and are twice as expensive. It's not a hard decision between our financial stability and my sons health but it's really difficult to give up all the free stuff our current place has been giving us. We told them about it and they don't have the huge bags of free stuff the current place does. So we told the current place about all the lows and they suggested the new insulin anyway. Picked some up and will start tomorrow. Wish it would be tonight as I'm up anyway.

We will switch, our next appointment with the new folks is mid October. Until then, we are getting guidance from both and comparing it. That gives us a month to change our minds if we need to. One more pickup and then we will be on our own.

One good note from all this, we will have met our deductible shortly after the hospital bills are finished coming in (thousands and thousands of dollars) and I told DH he's getting the snip no matter what this time. So I can sell my pampers stockpile if we need to once DS is PT

Yawn

Don't forget to get rainchecks for the TGIF stuff. MFQ is good for a while and when your supply starts going down, you can get more!
