Whee Yahoo! Whee It's a good day.

I found out one of my DBF's friends is a couponer... we never met while I lived in Chicago, bad DBF! Told her about the JF deal and she went and did it... and somehow got $13 dollars back from the manager after the RR didn't print Confused No idea how she did it laugh out loud
I'm going to transfer an RX there and use my $25GC coupon. Then do separate transaction get a one touch, stamps and a box of lancets. Use the GC to pay for it and I'll be happy.

Oops, I forgot to quote DS.

I'm glad you are happy with the 2nd opinion docs. Why does it have to be this way in this country though?! We shouldn't have to make a decision between the health of our families and our finances. Yes, I know it's a no brainer decision, but we shouldn't have to make the decision in the first place! Everyone should be able to get the same quality care, regardless of whether or not they can afford it!

Sorry, off my Soap Box

Okay, just because this door was opened, I'm going to throw it out there that in countries where this is true . . . you have to stand in lines around the block to see a dentist or wait months (sometimes years) to have simple outpatient surgery. So, it can cost us a little more and we can do it on our own timetable or we can become cattle lost in a ridiculous government process. Has anyone here ever had to go wait at a Medicaid OB office? That's the last thing you want to do when your big, pregnant, hormonal and disgusted by germs.

Hey, all! I was just going to put a spare roll of TP in the hall bathroom, and realized I am OUT of TP!!!! How is it that I can keep a steady stockpile of cereal, canned goods, cleaning supplies, all the health and beauty items a girl could possibly need, but I CANNOT keep myself stocked with TP?!?!?

So ... anyone know of a good deal this week - anywhere - on toilet paper? Good deal meaning as close to free as possible. laugh out loud
If you have a Kroger or an Albertson's near you, there individual 4 paks of TP (Scott and Cottonelle) are usually close to $1 and there are current $.50 (if your store doubles) and $1 coupons, so it makes for free or cheap.

mine wouldn't scan at Target and they wouldn't push it through. At my grocery store they pushed it through but I only used 2. I would feel more comfortable getting alot if they scanned, but I will still try to load up this weekend regardless.
Please no one take this tacky as that is not how I mean it . . . but how are you loading up? My family loves these and I've been buying 3 or 4 every time I go to the store, but since the Q is good until the end of the year I've been treating it like the FB Qs in the beginning and trying to spread it around and use it sparingly . . . ???

I bet she's spreading her love between lots of different stores, maybe getting 3 or 4 at each store. That's what I would do.

My grocery store doesn't care. They take 16 of any coupon. I wouldn't get 16 at Target, I'd get 4 or 5 there

Neither way is ideal. In this country you have to wait a minimum of 6 months to see a dermatologist for an issue, never mind if you just want a skin check. There were free dental vans in several states over the summer, people lined up for miles waiting in line as they couldn't afford to get dental care usually. They couldn't treat patients fast enough. Surgeries here are cancelled due to insurance issues. At a good doctor it's a minimum 8-10 month wait for a physical. I could go on.

I totally agree. I would much prefer to pay for my health insurance and choose where I am treated as opposed to having to wait on red tape, some official to decide I *really* do need certain treatmen, etc. Anyone with Kaiser probably knows what socialistic health care is like...

In the past 3 years, we have definitely gotten WAY more out of our insurance than we have put in - you never know what life is going to throw your way healthwise. Whereas my brother and his wife are now going to have to have state care for their pregnancy (he waited too long to get insurance for her after their marriage and now she's considered having a "pre-existing" condition) and its a huge headache. I much prefer my OB office, where because I'm the one paying the bill, I have a much bigger say in what goes on.

Unfortunately, we don't have either of those stores. And why is it that Target doesn't carry hardly any 4-pk of TP? Anyone else notice that?! What a pain!!!

I am pretty excited about this deal (I know, doesn't take much to get me going laugh out loud ). I can rarely wrap my brain around deals that needs coupons ordered, and when I do figure it out then they are usually sold out. I paid $5 for enough coupons to get 50 packs of Cottonelle free Whee Whee I know, I am Crazy Tp is something I have had trouble getting decent amounts for free or cheap. The other day by a total fluke I caught some coupons I wanted online and bought them (then they sold out) - only to get a cancellation the next day Mad An hour later caught them on another site and this time they shipped bounce

We have a Kroger which doubles which makes up for no CVS, no ST, the Target is really small, not much else around here either. Hubby even said he would help me use the coupons bounce

Well apparently he couldnt find the single packs of kool aid so he just went ahead and gave her the coupon anyways, of course it worked but i was like holy crap!! lol I figured he would have just said forget it...that makes me so proud hehe. (This was his first coupon experience ever.)
Clap for your DH. That is sooo not where I thought that story was going. laugh out loud

I always say, more men should coupon. They get away with murder. laugh out loud

That is sooo awful about the bassinette. TG you didn't CL it. That's the kind of thing that would give me nightmares.

Quote from shopgirl24 :

yep, i always print out those science diet coupons when they came out. i recently combined those with the $5 gift coupon petsmart had going on certain bags when they were on sale one week. it made the 40 lb bags less than the price of the 20lb bags. for science diet, that's a slick deal. bounce
Yeah! Clap I'm sure you've noticed how much SD has gone up in price lately. My kitties eat it too (well, mixed in with a little Goodlife, laugh out loud) I usually buy at PetCo (because it's in the same parking lot as my T Big Grin) and the regular price has gone up like 25% over the last six months or so. Mad

The only one I know is the $.20/1 (whoop-de-doo!!) off of Hunt's-- but that might be expired by now. Dontknow
