This thread is being created so people -- generally, those people who can't seem to resist talking about off-topic junk in the Target coupon thread -- have a place to talk about shopping at Target and other miscellaneous matters.

All you folks who hang out in the Target coupon thread, start hanging out here instead! When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! We'd love to hear about it, but NOT about your dog, your cat, your mom, your genital herpes, your... well, you get the idea.

That was a hard day for me too. Another was their first time on a school bus. I followed it all the way to the school laugh out loud

I just opened a Perfect 10 and a debit card thing fell out..thought I had checked them all.
laugh out loud Following the bus sounds like something I would do laugh out loud

The 5 year old just informed me 'no way - no how' can I walk him in tomorrow EEK! I will have to bribe him - I said just let me walk you in the first day laugh out loud

So far it has had to be pushed through no matter where I use the TGIF. And it's a shame my side-by-side freezer is full. Don't ever buy a side-by-side. The freezer part just isn't that big. I need a small chest freezer. Anyone got a cheap one to sell?
I have a good sized chest freezer and it's a pain in the butt since you have to organize so well! things are always falling to the bottom. I would look at the upright styles next time. My friend has one and is able to organize alot better.....

I already have visions of TGIF boxes tumbling everywhere avalanche style everytime dh goes in for ice cream shake head Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)

I have a medium sized chest freezer. I bought the plastic milk carton crates to put things in..one for veggies, one for meats, etc. they stack on top of each other and make it easier to organize.

I would love to have an upright freezer too. The chest freezer (that I got off Craigslist) is a pain in the butt because I always forget what is in the bottom of it. I am hoping to find a cheap upright one on CL and then sell mine.
Bronc-have you looked on Craigslist?

Does anyone know how long cheese is good after the expiration date?

TGIF question. I have tried the buffalo wings, the potato skins and the onion rings. Wings are good for at home snack. Didn't care the the skins, and the onion rings were bland.

What's everyone's favorite? I did pick up one of the artichoke dips but haven't tried it. If it's good I thought it may be good during the holidays.
I wotked for TGIF back in the days of "flair" for 5+ yrs. The spinach dip is the BEST!!! My Ab Fav!!!!

I actually ask them both while they were in the car with me. I said" Does anyone know what happened to the Durex that was in the pantry?"

DD21 replies "What is Durex?" DS17 doesn't say a word.
Honestly I'd be more worried about HER comment then his lack of one! Wink

But If I can even ask this...since you're a Mom of post-puberty DS...

I have 4 kids. My oldest is 10yoDS, then 5yoDs, 3yoDD, & 20mthDS.

I am soooooooooooooooo worried about the whole puberty thing and sex. I am (for lack of better phrase) Pro-Sex. Im not stupid, kids will have sex & that is that. (I was 20 when I got preggers w/ him -- and my mother believed I was a virgin until I told her I was 4 months)

BUT my fear is having THE TALK to a 10yo. Im a control freak, so I cant leave it to DH -- I have to be a part of it too. I want to be open, honest yet serious & I can not find the words to make this happen.

Any suggestions?

Did you freeze it past its expiration? I would go by how long it had to expire before you put i in the freezer. You'll be able to tell by smell & touch that it is no good.

I went to Target today. And upon entering, I had that blast you in the face smell of freshly burnt popcorn. Can't those people in the "food area" at least know when popcorn is burning?

And then, the stupid people who take up the whole isle with their carts! What's up with that? If you want to look at something, then move your farking cart to the side of the isle, it's not that hard to do!

Oh, and I happened to be wearing a red polo shirt today, so I was stopped by about 1736 people asking me stupid farking quesitons. "Where is the cough medicine?", "What isle are the fireplace pokers on?", "Where are the feminine hygiene products?" For farks sake people, each Target is essentially set up the same! Maybe it's flipped, but most of them are the same. Use your common sense!!! Idiots.

I never wear red to Target. I did that to someone yesterday, she was wearing red and I asked her if she could look in back for something. She didn't work there. It happens.
