This thread is being created so people -- generally, those people who can't seem to resist talking about off-topic junk in the Target coupon thread -- have a place to talk about shopping at Target and other miscellaneous matters.
All you folks who hang out in the Target coupon thread, start hanging out here instead! When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! We'd love to hear about it, but NOT about your dog, your cat, your mom, your genital herpes, your... well, you get the idea.

Thanks for the T trip tips Doublesided & Discountmama . A T with Durex rings would be a Godsend. Dh and I are so thankful to all of you who took the time and effort to get us some rings.: You are sort of our ahem...marriage helpers..lust: jk.
Just when I was learning to be a creative CVSer I got an email from a local sd friend that she is not longer going to her usual CVS. Like many she had been stacking the $3/15 CVSQ's etc Per her their store manager caught on . She could not figure out how all the new cashiers knew who she was. Finally one share with her that after each interview the manager shows new hires etc. her picture ! I asked her if this was legal and she said yes they can show videotape here in Ga but not tape one's voice. :eek Maybe there is a market for Kool-aid dye here afterall.
I didn't shpp today since I was burnt out and lazy WG was next to where I took the kids and the WG walls beaconed me to get some free w/ rebate Crest Pro-Health TP-.50mq.
I am soo happy that all you are safe from the storm.
When my dad lived in Buffalo,Ny he used to jokingly say that there were 2 seasons there. .. this winter and last winter! Some of my family is at the Cape in the mess now.
It is nice having a chat thread for T folks. Thank you SD , Mods ,and all! yes dh is working ...
what are y'all getting the kids this year?
for DD 6 mo:
rock and ride pink Fisher Price pony
Fisher Price laugh & learn shopping cart (ok, you're laughing...)
DD 3yo:
I'm looking at the new Vsmile system (VMotion I think?) We have the original VSmile set from the first Christmas it came out. This one works with all those games too but you can do more with it. not sure if it is worth the upgrade or not.
same with the newest Leapster. We have an old, battered up Leapster LMax but the new leapster is smaller and the new games are more fun. Is it worth the upgrade?
DS 7 yo
probably 2 Wii games, Star Wars Lego set. Maybe a new board game. he wants the new Leapfrog didj, but last Christmas he got a DS. Must we have EVERY handheld electronic on the market?? (well, we dont' have a PSP either....)
anybody giving more interesting things?

okay, scanning the TRU ad online and found this:
SAVE 15%, 25%, or 50% ON ANY ONE HASBRO, PARKER BROS., MILTON BRADLEY OR CRANIUM GAME **BUT!! there's a code inside each ad, you don't know what savings you get until you take the coupon to the store and match the symbol to the board in store (or wait for someone on SD to post the deal matches). Coupon is good until 9/20. guess I am buying the usual 10 papers instead of just 6.

check out this new scholastic mystery game...uses books, online clues, card clues...
there was an ad in All You this month, it looks really fun though!

But...I know I am feeding myself and my kids when they are home..I honestly try to keep all my out of pocket costs super low. Gas for my car, is almost $300 a month mainly for the reason of just driving back and forth to work. I know I will be laid off again at work this December for who knows how long? Usually it is 3 months. Then I return back to work. A crazy vicious cycle.
Remember we cannot help others unless they want to help themselves. We all must need to reflect on our own lives. The way are households incomes have switched because of coupons. Do we have more toys, more books? Planning trips we never could have before hand? Yes, because of coupons we all our life has been affected.
I met a gentleman at a retail store yesterday. His question was, "Are you successful?"
We all are successful here at SD.
I have this big consignment sale to get ready for , by Thursday. I have to get everything out, organize it, price it, put it in their system, print out the barcodes, tape them on, pack up my van and drive them over. Sooooo dont feel like doing it. Anyone want to come help?

I have 1.00 off Kashi q's from an oranic booklet from a local grocery store, but have no idea where they are as I never cut them up. Plus its not a money maker so I am not sure I will be doing it.
Need to go to Hellmart today for more papers. I dread going there on a Sunday. They are converting it to a Super Walmart, and there is litterally stuff all over the place. Food aisles in between clothing and such, its a mess
I also saw in

On a different note, one of my grocery stores is having a bogo on TGIF next week. It will make for 1.17 overage on each q. I am so hoping they will give the overage on an IP.
Here's hoping DS is doing Great at her sale today!
