This thread is being created so people -- generally, those people who can't seem to resist talking about off-topic junk in the Target coupon thread -- have a place to talk about shopping at Target and other miscellaneous matters.
All you folks who hang out in the Target coupon thread, start hanging out here instead! When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! We'd love to hear about it, but NOT about your dog, your cat, your mom, your genital herpes, your... well, you get the idea.

Too sunburnt to shop. just stuck on more eucerin/noxema and I'm going to put kid to bed, watch gossip girl and work on a SF book. very exciting night.
I have to get to T tomorrow, PA and a couple of returns.
When I waited tables in college, some of the guys used to joke about "crop dusting" as they walked past tables when a couple was obviously on a date. Then watching as the couple looked at each other, each thinking it was the other person who let one go. I still get tears of laughter when I think about that....
Well, we did find them, but I don't actually have any of them in my possession at this point. I'm trusting that dpags won't sell them for profit LOL! We stuck them on the backs of lots of sheets of paper!
Also found $5 Renuzit peelies that don't expire until sometime in 2009. I can't remember what else!
I'm sitting here at work laughing so hard that I'm crying. Literally, tears are streaming down my face.
Good thing my baby won't take a pacifier otherwise I'd absolutely have to get him his first "grill"
I think couponing, for me, is allowing me to do the same things I was doing before inflation hit. I don't notice the gas prices and food prices being higher because overall our non-bill budget hasn't changed that much. Kinda sad, I keep telling DH we need to cut back on going out to eat so much, it's just so much faster. AND, I actually get to leave the house. I think that's half the reason I don't cook some nights. Some days I haven't been outside all day because of whiny kids. It's so much easier to leave the house with kids when you have another adult with you, even when they are whiny....
I've been trying to think all day where I saw that towel. I know I saw it out in a store somewhere. Maybe it was Target?!?!? I thought I saw it with my sister and that's the only store I've been to with her lately.
They're for $1/2 Pepsi brand cubes. But the barcode is 512000000336... and you know with all those zeros in there, it's got to be a good one.
Be forewarned though.... they're the *really* sticky peelie kind.

I did that about a month ago... I usually prepay at the pump but for some reason it wouldn't read my credit card.. so I had to go in and pay... I payed got into the truck and was actually driving down to Wa. to shop and got to the border/customs and though why is my tank on Empty... it dawned on me, DUH, you paid but forgot to pump...
Thank God it's the corner gas station close to my house that I frequent almost daily and so when I got back from Wa. I went right there, and it was the same guy, he says... forget something the other day...
I've also done the pay at MC D's and then drive right through without getting my food.... and today I was at the Taco Bell, and drove right through the part where you order and straight to the window.... she was like, you were supposed to stop back there and order....
I told her... so sorry, I think I must have been daydreaming....
So glad that there are others out there who have done this

omg my dad would have a hoot over that one. he gets kicks out of farting in the fridge in stores and waiting around the corner until an old couple opens it and tries to figure out which of them did it.
That is absolutely hilarious. I don't know that I'd have it in me (pun sorta intended) to do this, but I'd love to be there to watch.

At work, those in my immediate office know about my 'hobby'. Don't necessarily want to coupon, but don't make fun of me either. Came back last week from a Target PopTart run, and one of them said that I should keep some at my desk for a snack. She said she would even pay for them. So now, we have a snack box, and 4-5 gals pay .25 for pop, poptarts and RKT. Good deal all around. I can use the extra few $ to buy more coupons for the next deal!
