I think I rented that!

Seriously, though, those kind of things can really make a sofa king unkewl work environment, just because everyone is so tense and not wanting to do the slightest little thing that might be misconstrued. Been there, done that (well, not DONE that, but I've worked somewhere that had a similar situation going on...).

I can only imagine how much worse it must be at a university...they often tend to be hotbeds (no pun intended) of politicking and backstabbing, and situations like that only add fuel to the fire.

I hope you're far enough removed from the action that you can muddle through without too much distraction.

Cute kitty, BTW---we had one that looked just like it (and still have her litter-sister, purrrring along at 14).

Take care!
So true!! Yes, I am not directly affected by any of this (TG) except in the sense of being POd by how our university is handling the whole situation (as in, not at all). But thanks for your well wishes.

And Loomis (the cat) says purrs and head bonks to you and your kitty. We are hoping Loomis will keep on trucking to 14 and beyond.

Ugg, I'm sitting here right now doing Ponds Vouchers and Fandango! Here's the link to order your Fandango Bucks [fandango.com], is that what you wanted?

I just turned 17 peelies into Mamma Mia vouchers, now I've got to enter them for Fandango Bucks. And before I did that, I got Fandango Bucks for the vouchers I had saved a few weeks ago. Tiring, but well worth the never to expire Fandango GCs!
I did 8 in a row the other night and thought I'd about had it. laugh out loud But loving the +$100 in Gc sitting in my email account now!!

OMG, so glad we don't have that. You'd have to roll me out of the theater! laugh out loud

I also found some great peelies at Publix this week. $1 any variety of General Mills products listed. There was Hamburger Helper, Betty Crocker Potatoes, Pop-Secret, Fruit Snacks and more - a TON of items listed on the back that they can be used on. Don't expire till sometime in 2009. I used them this week for the B1G1 Hamburger Helper making it a .05 money maker per box.

now that's a nice thing....hmmm you can just go over and over and over again.
I am thinking you can go 5 times on one GC.
$1 ticket and $1 fee (I think) so your tickets are $2 each...jeepers creepers.

That's a cool goal - how did you come up with it? Saw a need for it in your area?

We don't either & that was it. One of our plans is to have a day/night dedicated to parents with kiddos...we want to enjoy a movie too w/o interrupting others.
We take our kids to the movies now but it is nearly a hassle..they are quiet but you know how they can get tired, etc. We want it to be some place for everyone.

*SNIP*
exactly...we have been talking to the city about it for about a year & 1/2..all our theaters are big chains & are not the most friendly in pricing except for about 2. They are seen as "in a bad area" however..we have been a few times & no issues except for long lines & such.
the closest $1 theater to us is 40 miles away and the other is nearly 50 so nod there is a need. We have had a few studies done on what it can do for the city. I think another group that can benefit is our day care and senior centers. They enjoy getting out too & why not enjoy a movie once a month/week for an inexpensive price? We are not sure how the arrangement will be but it will be nice...not necesarily super stadium seating but not old broken down chairs & such. We will see....whether we will keep it at 8 screens or lower it to 6 is another issue. 4-6 are easier to manage than 8.

We are very excited about this venture & hope it comes to light sooner than we think.

Really. So I can get like 3 packs of shakes for each $10mfq. That's great. I'll list the $3MFQ as a want in my siggy then. excellent.

They are just over $4.50 a box here for 4 pack of the snack shakes, can't remember exactly. The larger size has 6 and are plastic wrapped and they are still under $10 but around $8.xx. For your son I would stick with the smaller snack size drinks though, not sure how well glucerna saves once opened.
