This thread is being created so people -- generally, those people who can't seem to resist talking about off-topic junk in the Target coupon thread -- have a place to talk about shopping at Target and other miscellaneous matters.
All you folks who hang out in the Target coupon thread, start hanging out here instead! When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! We'd love to hear about it, but NOT about your dog, your cat, your mom, your genital herpes, your... well, you get the idea.

I remember when my dd was in pre-school and learned to write her name. She did it beautifully backwards, with such ease...and not just backwards, but mirror image backwards. she didn't even have to think about it...she just wrote everything mirror image backwards..I was soooo scared that something was terribly wrong...talked to her teacher and her doc and they re-assured me. eventually she just stopped doing it.
hopping over to my other forum, working on a sf book and then hit sack unless sparkling conversation draws me back
I need some pointers on the TGIF coupon

We take our kids to the movies now but it is nearly a hassle..they are quiet but you know how they can get tired, etc. We want it to be some place for everyone.
exactly...we have been talking to the city about it for about a year & 1/2..all our theaters are big chains & are not the most friendly in pricing except for about 2. They are seen as "in a bad area" however..we have been a few times & no issues except for long lines & such.
the closest $1 theater to us is 40 miles away and the other is nearly 50 so
We are very excited about this venture & hope it comes to light sooner than we think.
DM-go get tested. I'm going mid october so is DH. It's so important.
Here's an example of my WAG runs:
5 separate orders of Robitussin = $50 RRs
Next order:
Buy $50 GC + (4) 50 clearanced Chapsticks = total of 5 items in your order
Give (5) RRs
OOP = $2 + tax
Today, one of my favorite cashiers told me that she read the fine prints and can't allow me to buy GCs. She didn't get in trouble, but didn't want to take the risk. She was very nice about it, so I thank her for letting me know.
I went to the next cashier, who also read the fine prints after order and said that she wasn't supposed to take RRs for GCs. Then, she said the machine took the RRs, so I'm fine. It's totally YMMV on using your RRs to get GCs.
But I have started doing GC with one girl and she doesn't mind. So I think I will continue to get them instead of keeping up with expirations and such. We are at Olive Garden at least once a month (we only have 3 chain restaurants in town) and I know they will be used. So dinner is paid for with my $$ and free stuff to boot!
Products are either $3.79 or $2.49:
$3.79:
Pledge spray or wipes
Drano
SB shower foamer/toilet gel/action scrubber/fresh brush max kit
$2.49:
SB spray or wipes
Shout spray or wipes
Fantastik spray
Windex spray or wipes
The only problem I've read peeps having is that the SB action scrubber REFILL doesn't work for the deal, only the kit itself.
The SB action scrubber has a $2.75 bricks Q available, so that makes those a particularly good deal.
i jumped on last night and a few were saying it is dead. was hoping that was just them getting the wrong bottles. I haven't done it yet and need to get out tomorrow after school. So it's still on, right?
One rr per item. Now am I right that if you have a manu already attached to it, you need another item without a manu. Say 6 items with one manu q, can only use 5 rr's??? Isn't that right? Someone jump in!
Yes!! You got it. Just remember the RR is a MQ and it has to "attach" to something. Anything. Doesn't matter what it is-- even those donations the cashiers solicit for at the reigster will work.
7 scrubbing bubbles or shout @ 2.49= 17.43 (depends on whats in stock)
1 Wags foil @ 1.19=1.19
BC 18.71
use:
7 $1MQ(scrubbing bubbles or shout) depending on stock
1 Wags in ad foil coupon
$10RR
AC..93 + tax..$10RR
THEN
3 Robbies @ 3.99 = 11.97
1 book stamps @ 8.40 = 8.40
BC 20.37
use
3 $3MQ Robbis
$10RR from scrubbing bubbles
AC 1.93..$10RR
Then I am reselling the cleaning products at my garage sale...
RINSE AND REPEAT... I am giving stamps for christmas in my cards...(only to the peeps I really like)..they sell forever stamps..
Do the Robbi first..pay $2.97 get $10RR to start you off if you do not have any RR.

Yes, it is one RR per item. Yes, they are like mq's in that, if you have an item with a mq attached, you need another item without a mq for the RR
