When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! Quote from doublesided :
19 months. Still won't eat on his own with a spoon. He will do it once or twice but insists I feed him the rest. Since the D rules, he has to eat within a certain time so it's not like I can just put the spoon down and wait for him to eat.

mama, dada, baba, done (most popular word), s, h (teaching him alphabet). starting to try to say good job. babbles a lot but not a ton of coherent stuff
I must tell you - my son, who is now 3, did not say full words until he was over 2 years old. I thought for sure something was "wrong" with him, as all the other kids his age were practically speaking in sentences, if not paragraphs. People kept telling me, "Don't worry - one day he'll wake up and it will click, just like magic." Yea, right, I would think to myself - easy for you to say when its not your child! But you know what? It sure enough happened pretty much that way! One day we were in my sister's antique shop, and he was staring at himself in a mirror. All of a sudden, he says, "I see Jaden in the mirror!" OMG Could have wiped me up off the floor, I was so shocked... And this was after he was 2 years old, didn't say hardly anything more than book, ball, dada, mama, and his own made-up little language.

All kids are different, all kids mature at their own rate. Smilie

Omg you are so right! They expect your children not to be well put togehter or for you to look like trash since you are using coupons! let them keep stereotyping! laugh out loud laugh out loud
I totally have to agree with this, and must admit I have stereotyped customers myself! Once had a lady in front of me, dressed and coiffed to the nines, pull out her wallet/purse to make a purchase, and wouldn't you know it? She had a notepad FULL of different stores, different deals, different coupons, all organized very neatly. Embarrassment And when I was leaving, I saw her get into a convertible sports car. I just hope when I have money like that, I'm just as frugal!

Quote from stormy_cat :
I am alive, I think. I better make some $$$ from this consignment sale. I wsa up to 1:30 am getting most of it tagged and then back up at 6am. Hubby had to work form home this morning, my van was so full I couldnt fit him and the baby in it.

Found some Kashi q's and did the deal x3

Really need to clean and organize. I hope I didnt forget to mail anyone q's. My mind has been absent lately

Double I still have your box here as I got more Borders stuff in, so it should be sent very soon. and to answer your question, no he isnt eating hardly at all. Not even ckn or mac and cheese which were his favs. For lunch yesterday he ate 3 mandarin orange pieces and thats it. For dinner he ate a few bites of cheese and some crackers. AHHHHHHH

Aparently I really need to get to WAGS, but I still need to try and get a gc for Southwest at Kmart. So many stores so little time!
I have gone through stages like this with my little guy. Unless he is noticeably losing weight, I wouldn't worry too much about it - I have been told and have read that kids will eat when they need to. I offer every kind of tempting food I can offer (along good nutritional lines, of course!) and strongly encourage a bite or two of everything on his plate. Just remember that it takes far less to satisfy a toddler than it does an adult. Here's hoping he gets an appetite again for you!

Hey all. I'm really ticked. Don't know if this is true or just a rumor. Stupid Local Newstations. Gas Prices to rise to 5.00 per gallon. Limits of 10 gal. per customer.
Was going to go top off my tank, but the lines are already long at our gas stations...anyone else heard this or seeing this at their stations?

Link [wciv.com]

ETA: My dd went for gas and they are limiting to 10 gallons. Nice. that way when you need more, you can pay over 5.00 for it. I'm buying a scooter.

Ah-ha! So THIS is where everyone has been lately!! laugh out loud

What really gets people talking is when you're checking out wearing the Gucci watch with the Coach bag in the front of the cart. They just can't figure it out. laugh out loud I say keep 'em talking! Sometimes I will even turn around and make comments about how little my grocery bill is or how much I've saved in the last year.
*snip*
That is so funny.....I was throwing coupons and peelies down left and right at the register earlier today while wearing my Gucci watch, Coach shoes, Coach bag, and peelies flying out of my Coach wallet... LMAO I'm glad someone else looks like this at the checkout Wink

DEAL alert:
In the backpacks, check your Target for a Reebox laptop backpack/messenger type bag. It's black and a white pinstripe. It was 24.99 or so on the tag, but for some reason they were marked down to 6.24, then marked again at 75% off so they were 1.56!!!!!!! That's nearly 95% off EEK! I bought 5....1 to use as a library bag since it has a nice messenger style with long strap, and 4 more to donate to my son's school for kids without backpacks. Awesome deal!

Somehow I can't picture myself on a scooter, but they do look like fun. Would have to have a huge basket on it though, to hold my Target purchases..I can just see it now laugh out loud and hey, when I go thru the drive thru, I really would look like -----> Biker

Maybe I could buy a scooter side car for my Target goodies!

You don't have to spend $$$ - it's how you put the deal together with your MQs & their FAR monthly items to get the best out of WAG Q.

This is a reason why I haven't done any WAG monthly FAR deal yet - knowing that this Q will come around during the month.

Plus, there are lots of 75% off clearance items right now - check their shelves, not the endcaps.

Isn't there a girdle that has locks that they can wear? Rofl2 Wait! I think that was back in the 1800's. LMAO
Chastity belt!! And more like the Middle Ages. Husbands used to stick 'em on their wives so the stable boy or whomever couldn't go there while the husband was out fighting a war.

There were even some that had, um, teeth around the significant area, so if any dude did try to go there. . . oops, it'd be the last time he did. EEK!

!
OUr son, too. He was actually evaluated by the state at 19 mos. since he only had about 5 of the 50 words or so they said he should have by 18 mos. My DH used to say, "He just doesn't have anything to say." The evaluators said the same thing. About a month or 2 later he finally started to talk.
He's 5 1/2 now and talks from the minute he wakes up until the minute he falls asleep!!!

wave Hi there sincere thanks for the tips on other deals/stores. I got an email from a kind soul that Kmart thread has info on an arrest! I need to read it. Dh and I promised our families that once we became foster parents we would still make them a priority. Thank God we fly free so day trips are possible. We both went through extensive training/clearance etc. We explained our need to travel to see/help family to DFAC's way before we fostered . We started out doing respite. That is where foster kids go to another foster parents for 2 days..then were hooked /reeled in of course! Kids are great..well most of the time. Since ours are special ed/needs they do not miss much here if they miss a day but rarely do.The doctors say that it is good for the girls to have time alone with dh too..for bonding.nod He works very long weekend hours and has the week off. We love his schedule. My mom still works. She had a knee operation that did not turn out well. I hope to be of some help to her. She just had hammertoe surgery too. I hope that I do not have these issues later! She is a vegan and in great shape yet still has issues!
Congrats on your baby boy Nikayla!hug
