I do have a question and am hoping you guys can help. I have a DD that wears hearing aids (I do too), and hearing aid batteries are just friggin' expensive! I did come across a lucky deal at Wags last week where each pack was $2.99 after the IVC and MQ (Energizer batteries, normally $9.49 each - on sale for $6.99 each). I was only able to get 4 since I only had 4 MQ's. They had issues at the register giving me this deal as the signage was old and it wasn't really on sale. If any of you know of a way to get cheap hearing aid batteries, I'm all ears!

problem booking my tickets, mine went through, little guys didnt and the $$$ is gone from the gc's is gone, some kind of glitch. Happened ot another customer today too. I cant call customer relations until Monday morning. They did hold his reservation, at the agents fare not my web price, just to hold a place for him. Since I am buying tickets on different days, I have to try and get our boarding passes for the same grouping.
My headache is back. I hope this works out.

We just got the boys down after being at a bday party most of the afternoon. They were soooo tired. I just hope the baby sleeps in a bit tomorrow AM - his 4:45 AM wakeups are killing me. Stormy - if you are flying Southwest - your boarding passes aren't assigned until you check in online the day before your flight. If you check in exactly 24 hours before your departure - you will be able to check you both in and get boarding passes for the same group. They will let you board first anyways, with the people in wheelchairs and such. I wouldn't worry about it.

So I got my dream car for my Bday! I told DH many years ago the Lexus Crossover was my dream car, the car I dreamed of but would never be able to have, 40K new! As most of you know or have guessed I work at a movie theatre. So toniht this chick comes up and asks if she will be able to refund a ticket if her friend doesn't show up. I asked if she had the credit card she purchased them and she said yes, so I said yes we would refund it for her. Now, here's the thing she was standing there in front of us waiting for them to show up. Someone showed up and she walked away.
Fast forward to two hours. Lady walks back up and says can I get a refund for this...it was for a 7:20 show it is now 9:20....I said I'm really sorry we don't refund tickets after the end of a movie, but I can give you a pass to come back another time. She said no, I talked to someone and they told me you could. I then realized it was the same girl from earlier. And I was like, oh I remember you coming up, you asked if we could refund the ticket then and we could have, but our policy says we can't refund it after the show. She said well, I was going to refund it then. But I didn't and I want my money back. I said I'm sorry, I can't do that. She said well you should have told me that earlier. I said I didn't know you were going to wait as you had asked if we could do it then. She then proceeds to completely go off on me and tell me that I didn't do my job properly b/c I should have told her that and told her the return policy.
I was like I'm sorry, I didn't tell you the return policy at all...you had asked if I could refund the ticket at that point, I said yes. She said well yea but you didn't tell me I couldn't return it later. I was like ma'am you told me you were going to return it then if your friend didn't show up. She said well I would have had you of told me the policy.
Basically we went round and round and the thing is I really don't think I was wrong! Had she of asked the policy I would have explained it to her. But I don't think it's my fault that she chose to wait two hours to return a ticket for a movie that was over! I tried to explain it to her like hey if you go to six flags and buy too many tickets you can't wait until the end of the day to return it.
I caved to the pressures of "good" customer service and gave her the freakin refund and she wanted my name and my boss's #. I was like that's fine, you can have my name because I don't appreciate being told I did not do my job or that I wasn't nice when I have tried to accommodate you from they very beginning and now I'm violating a company policy to give you your money back.
so, do you guys think I'm just being stubborn??? Or was she being illogical? I strive to have great guest service....at 9.25 a ticket the very least we can do is provide a positive experience.
Tonight was just H-O-R-R-I-B-L-E. An "experienced" manager decided halfway through our busiest set was a good time to go on break leaving noone behind the concession stand to lead and guide the employees, the projectionist dropped a movie....that's always fun. Hey, sorry you can't see your movie today b/c my dumbass manager dropped the movie......an employee gave back $50 too much in change, and there's always stupid drama and kid shit to deal with.
Sorry, I really needed to get this off my chest as it really bothers me and dh doesn't really understand why I can't always leave work at work.
Oh and my boss is out of town so everything that goes wrong this weekend falls on my shoulders and it seems to be an awful lot going wrong. *sigh*
