Teri and Trang...you guys are funny!! laugh out loud I can always count on a chuckle when you guys post. Smilie

DS, I agree about your earlier comment about stuff for medical usage being ridicuously high. I mean, why would batteries that run special medical equipment need to be almost 10 times more than a regular battery used to run a flashlight? And, not only that, but the "special" batteries die a lot quicker too! It's so annoying... I was able to print 4 of the G Q's for you. I'll send those out either tomorrow or the next day. Big Grin

man! my target is still sooo empty. went for food and like 75% is still oos!
even the frozen section which had apparently already been restocked!
Yeah, it takes a LONG while for stuff to get back into the stores after a hurricane. And, usually when stuff is back in, they are gone within minutes! Sorry you're having to go thru this.

Quote from SoCalGal2008 :
I'd suggest a couple of "test" runs this week to see if you can get a friendly cashier. Run in and grab some of the Glade peelies (save a couple for next week), Crest mouthwash, and check the WAGs thread to see what you can use a WAGs Q and MQ on this week (haven't made my run there yet). If the cashier gives you grief about using TWO coupons, she certainly won't let you do 3.

I have one WONDERFUL store that encourages me to use as many Qs as I can. I was buying a padded envelope last month that had a peelie on it for some other Scotch item (tape maybe?). The Asst mgr grabs the tape coupon and scans it for the envelope. I said, "but... that isn't the right product!" He said, "I know, I was just trying to help you out, see if it worked." This store lets me change Cats into GC. If it scans, you can do it.

On the other hand, the store 5 min from my house... I'm too "memorable" there because I've stood my ground too many times when sales didn't ring up correctly, cats don't print, etc. One older lady told me last time I had already saved enough and she wouldn't let me use my MQs. DH has told me not to go back to that store because every time I leave that place I'm upset.

Give your WAGs coupons first or the register will not let you scan the MQ usually!

*snip*

I decided next time I see an address book at the dollar spot I'm grabbing it to keep track of my coupon buddy addresses. Smilie I saw they just put all Snoopy stuff in there. YAY! DH loves Snoopy. Cheap stocking stuffers, I'll even pay $1 and not wait until clearance time...
Thanks for the tip. I was just thinking that today, that I should go in and check out the WAGS and see how they are (we have a billion of them here laugh out loud). And, thanks for the order in which the coupons should go. I was going to ask that or do some research (I will do WAGS research later today) to see how to do it.

Great idea on the address book thing for the SD peeps. That way some notes can be kept on what each person is looking for and it'll be easier to save them and send them out! nod

They're yours Smilie I don't need any q's right now, but thank you for offering!
Thanks, Devilmomma, you're awesome!! DP, here I come! laugh out loud

I agree, seems like companies are taking advantage of disabilities to make profit. Insurance probably doesn't cover the cost of maintenance and batteries.

If you have a flexible spending account, that might be extra savings, since it's deducted pre-tax. That way, when you go to get your deals on batteries the deal would be sweeter.

((Hugs)) What a story about customs! I'm glad you made it through.

Here's a quick search on the Ts around DL.

http://sites.target.com/site/en/s...tid=206422

If that doesn't come up, go to the store locator and search for "Fullerton, CA" Don't search for Anaheim.

The first Target that comes up for Fullerton is right down the freeway from Disneyland and has always been one of my favorite clearance stores.

It's also conviently located next to the Disneyland outlet store, "Character Warehouse"

There's a Sonic, In & Out, Panda Express and Jack in the Box in that general shopping area, too. Also an IHOP and Ruby's Diner. I think a couple more sit down places that are not as kid friendly. I heart that shopping center! Not close to me anymore though.

The second store it lists in Fullerton, CA (Malvern address) is a Greatlands Target. Very nice and kept up but a bit out of the way.

There is a large KMart near Disneyland, I think it is on Ball Avenue.

There's a large McDs down the street from Disneyland with a giant playstructure for the kids. If you have a GPS search for it. There's also a whole row of fast food restaurants as you leave Dland and drive down the street towards the 57.

There's a really good Goodwill in Fullerton not too far far from the Target, too.

!

Thank you so much for all that great info.. Repped on the flip side... hug

Can you tell me if there is a good grocery chain there, any that double coupons? Also is there a CVS...
Thanks

Laina, forgive me if this has already been asked, but did you do that cake in your avatar free hand (meaning w/o a pre formed pan). That is just fabulous. I would love to see your work. Do you have a website or photobucket?

It's ridiculous. But leave it to me, of course pretzels had coupons so my first year should be fairly cheap.

I printed 6 for you this morning, already in mail!

Been on a ton of work calls. Oh and did I mention I'm going through 25 pounds of inserts DH brought home?

Yeah, and that whole health insurance industry is just the pits. No coverage for anything dealing with hearing loss if you were born with it whatsoever...but, most insurance will cover those that are losing or have lost their hearing due to age. Go figure!

Thanks for the flexible spending account idea...I really hadn't thought of using it for the batteries! I've always heard about it, but never really understood/took the time to look into it.

Basically, you estimate the cost of medical, ie, deductibles, co-pays, your batteries, cold medicines, asprins, whatever that you pay oop for the year. That amount is deducted from your check pre-tax, and then you use it as you go.

YIPEEE! I have been to at least 8 WAGs and finally found the free glade warmer peelies - 20 of them and I took them all!!!! I also found some more momma mia peelies!!!!! Now, I think that i read to use the glade peelies at kfart and get a $2 catalina. Is this going on now? I thought I also read to save them for next week. What is the deal next week? they have an expiration date of 2010!!!!!

Also here is a list of eligible FSA expenses - batteries for hearing aids are included
https://www.fsafeds.com/fsafeds/e...penses.asp

I do FSA and it saves me loads of money. I can do some deals at WAGs or C*S and actually get the items for free or close to it (robitussen) and then submit for reimbursement and get the full cost of the robi back (my receipt may actually say I spent $2.71 and I will still get the full $3.99 back X3). It just makes do deals that much sweeter. I did $1500 in my FSA this year, we are a family of 4 with no medical issues and I have almost used the amount up.

The same can be said for "no coverage" on birth control pills, IUDs, patches or shots, but your health insurance will pay for getting your tubes tied or your DH getting the *snip* (doublesided Big Grin) Scratchhead
