When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! We'd love to hear about it, but NOT about your dog, your cat, your mom, your genital herpes, your... well, you get the idea.

And this is why I will not bring DS with me unless DH is there to entertain him. Which will have to happen tomorrow as I didn't finish what I needed to do today. Had a couple of OK runs though. Olay attached to my charmin which made febreze bogo do funky things, was very strange. Those 992's are killin me, I have to remember to stick them in back of the stack.

Found my first MM peelies. Still no HW, will have to keep trading for those! Got a couple of returns done at ON and DSW. Left 3 or 4 other errands to be done still. Not sure if I will be able to get there tomorrow or not but going to try my best. So many 9/30s left.

The febreze candle was down to 5.99 so I used up ALL the ones I had left. That store had electrasol at 2.69. When I went to the 2nd store, it was normal prices. It was weird.

Sorry you had a bad shopping trip. I had a cashier do that to me. I don't like it when they spread everything out because they tend to miss q's that way. It's hard to watch which q's they scan and watch the screen at the same time.

I feel ya with the note to parent. My DS was that way when he was young. I used to have 'backpack anxiety'. I was always afraid to open it for fear of another note from the teacher!
Thanks Teri. I shall rise and conquer another store tomorrow! laugh out loud

"backpack anxiety"....that describes it perfectly!

I just got here, I'll answer too. The cat is only printing for me if I buy the plug in gel warmers. Some places aren't giving cats at all, and no one has really said if they know when the promo ends..
That is exactly the kind I got. No CAT.

But I did get a CAT for buddies. Bought 3, CAT for 3.

Oh and school supplies and backpacks were 75% and there were a ton there. I felt the need to buy notebooks at that price.

I got the gel plug ins. 2 apple cinn and 1 clean breeze
I guess I won't try getting the gel plug ins at Kmart. I already used up my $4 off Oil plug-ins coupons that expired on the 13th. I used a few a day late for the refills, as I couldn't let those go to waste. My favorites are Hawaiian Breeze and Berry Burst, the lemon is also good. I like the Gel tropical smell as well. Clean Linen Yuck! I am using 13 Oil plug-ins right now, and 2 gel plug-ins all over my house and it smells wonderful. Plus I have several of the Glade wisp candles going as well, I guess about 10. My company comments on how nice my house smells, I love it. I also like the new kind that says it kills the orders not just hides them, but I forgot the fragrance it is, but it is nice. I am using one of those in the Kitchen now. At Christmas I will fill all the holders with Cinnamon for a few weeks.

I guess if you have a Schuncks you can get the Cat deal, I wonder where else. By the way I appreciate the help people give me, and am sure to rep for it. It is nice when people are friendly and help out, and makes the board a lot nicer.

Make sure your child knows that you are in charge, not them, else just wait until the wonderful teens come about and they start pushing you around! Let them know from the get-go that you are in charge until they leave home.

Teach your child the rewards system for good behavior.

I and all my siblings rememeber the belt very clearly. It was done in such a way that it didn't leave marks - clothes on.
sounds alot like my house growing up and my house now. nod
DS knows that he even thinks about acting out that he will lose all the fun stuff..starting with trashing a favorite toy.
Spankings are ok. You know how to control yourself & not harm your child.

I haven't tried the buddies yet. I never seem to get the q's for them. I've tried the bricks mailing and don't get them. Try to print them and it says I already have, don't get them in inserts...so I guess it's just not meant to be. I was thinking of getting some at K for the Cat and rinse and repeating...but not sure, maybe I'll just get one first just to see if the Cat prints.

Anyone ever try Little Debbie Cranberry Orange muffins? I picked some up today. Haven't tried them yet.

Thanks for the reminder...I def. forgot to cancel my fat tax lol. We're trying to cut excess out of our budget....we want to quit wasting money on stupid stuff and spend it on cool stuff lol.

Glad you guys liked my phrase...I say it more often than I should lol.

oh ok i found an mfq tonight for zoopals...was everyone else finding mfq's or tq's of this???

also there were $1 shout tq's on the diapers! anyone know how much shout is b/c now i have $1 mfq and $1 tq
I thought they were TQ, but they are MFQ.

And Jen....you're not the only one! My DD is the same age ( I think we already talked about that) and she is the exact opposite of my 5 year old son. It is like living "Groundhog Day" everyday with her. For example, we have a Brita Water Cooler. Son never, never, never played with it. Every freakin' day, DD gets a sippy cup (just the cup part) and gets water. I tell her, "No!! No water. Mom will get it for you." Next day......walk in the kitchen, she sees me and says, "mmmmmmm.....tasty water." I will tell her to stop a million times, the minute I yell at the top of my lungs, she will look at me as if to say, "oh. I'm sorry. Have you been saying something?" hug I just keep telling myself it will get better.......then take another shot of vodka. kidding. (sort of)

We all must have very strong willed kids!! laugh out loud My DD screamed bloody murder in the library the other day... She was straight up napping and then, as soon as I started to look for some books, she sprung up and looked around and then screamed at the top of her lungs! I was horrified! It was so quiet in there... shake head Everybody just stopped what they were doing and stared at us. Embarrassment I ran out of there so fast!! laugh out loud

Hi everyone!!

It's only just begun.... might as well learn how to pick your battles now - you'll be fighting them for a long time!!! LMAO ... Mine is 15 - only a few years left of "strong-willed-child" syndrome!!

However, I think having strong-willed kids is a good thing - it means they are confident and should do well when they get older - that is, if they make it to "older"!!! LOL!!!

Hang in there ladies!!! We always have our retail therapy to get us through.... Wink
