First off, please credit Fridayalex for originally leading me to this deal from last month's thread. Also, please merge, mods, if need be. Due to the new/significant drop in price today, along with getting more folks to be aware of the deal, I made a new thread. I was also hoping anyone that purchased at the $349 price point recently could get a $100 refund with a return/rebuy.

I was looking for a larger HDTV for my parents and almost bit at the $349 clearance price. However, today it dropped to $249 at the majority of Walmarts in my area, so I bit. They had 3 on the floor and 2 in the back. Floor price was still showing $349, but rang at $249, per BrickSeek. Not a 4K or good for the gamers, but I think this is a good price for a reputable brand @ 55". Many available in my area. Good luck Smilie

Seriously? You could get this tv + Roku stick/Fire Stick for less. And it wouldn't be refurb
Just talked to csr in person at wal mart said in the next couple of days there's gonna be a huge tv sale. Up to 75% percent off various tvs. He told me they're gearing up for super bowl. Good luck everyone!
IMO , BrickSeek has been about spot on with the last few Walmart & Target deals that I've secured. The store that I purchased at had exactly 5 (per BS and confirmed in store), then updated pretty quickly to 4 this afternoon after I purchased. These units may be stored in the back, though. If so, ask an employee to get using the SKU/UPC and they can pull with their scanner.

Pretty crappy TV, but hard to argue with the price.
