Is this Chase's competition the AMEX Platinum? Lounge access got Platinum seems to have become more restrictive. Worth the switch?

The only good thing about this card is the 100k bonus signup. Everything else sucks in comparison.
What exactly sucks about it compared to what other cards offer? $300 travel credit, 3X on travel and dining, $100 Global Entry credit, Priority Pass access, Primary Car Rental Insurance, 50% more points if redeeming through Chase Portal...Confused

Strongly disagree.. You get a 300 travel credit with csr and only a 200 credit towards flights with AP. Additionally, you get 3/3 on restaurants and all travel as opposed to JUST flights. And the 50% bonus redemption in chase is phenomenal - nothing close to what the Amex offers. Csr wrecks Amex platinum

IMO, your totally wrong. The access to in-USA when flying domestically is better with Platinum but overall, the benefits of the Chase Sapphire are much better. Also they have Priority Pass that allows much more than Platinum when in International flights, one example is I can bring myself and four friends into the priority pass lounge - not possible with plantinum

the only thing that amex do better is their airport lounges. The lounges you have access to from the sapphire is kind of meh. Overall the Sapphire is a great travel and dining card.
