Sam's Club has an HP Pavilion 15.6" laptop [samsclub.com] with full HD with AMD A12-9700 processor and 12 GB RAM with 256 SSD.

12GB DDR4 SDRAM / 256GB M.2 solid-state drive
Front-facing HP Wide Vision HD Webcam with integrated dual array digital microphones

2 USB 3.0 ports
1 HDMI port
4.55 lbs.
Checks a lot of boxes for me, Full HD, SSD drive, 8+ GB RAM.
Downsides: no touchscreen and heavy.
No reviews that I can find, but Sam's has a decent return policy.
Those who purchased copious amounts of Sam's Club gift cards using AMEX's (now expired) offer of 20% back on purchases would have a net cost of $400+tax.

I have spare upgraded batteries, cheap on ebay or amazon. 40 mins seems quite short estimate but I guess it depends on HOW you are using it, just like a smartphone would..
