This is a super sick tv once you tweak the settings. The blacks aren't the darkest but top quality all around otherwise. Also the interface + remote is SOOO MUCH better than the KS8000

But I do think 2475 still a bit too much given the 940D was crazy cheap not long ago. Buying and waiting 90 days for it to drop to 1999 and using price protection isn't a bad idea imo

Sure. Wait for that and they'll be gone. You'll be left without the last generation of big screen passive 3D.

Keep in mind that the LG outperforms in both viewing angle and 3D being passive. Passive 3D does not darken the image and there is no flicker that causes eyestrain. Similar experience to what you would get in the theater.
