I called Wells Fargo to confirm the deal. My wife was envious when I got a fat check from the previous deal.
I showed my sympathy by calling to confirm the deal is still around. They renewaled it.

I wouldn't try to get it in the branch. The offer you got in on had different terms, and may not apply to this one.

As others have warned already, I was "conditionally approved." I received an email with a tedious list of further requirements.
Not worth the hassle, in my opinion.

I don't know if this has been answered yet because I am playing catch up with reading the posts and am still several pages back.
Most likely when you first arrived at the landing page for this bonus it asked for your ZIP code. You entered it and the page reloaded. When you click the link to open an account, you received the page with the error you mentioned. I believe it is because there are no branches near you. That was my case as the closest is in another state, but only 61 miles away. I just re-entered my ZIP code to one that I know has branches nearby. Then proceeded to click the link to open the account and the app page loaded correctly. Doesn't mean I'll get the bonus. But gave it a try.
So on the Bonus landing page, next to your ZIP code is a link to CHANGE. Change it there and wait for the page to reload and then click the link. No guarantees you will get the bonus though.
