I called Wells Fargo to confirm the deal. My wife was envious when I got a fat check from the previous deal.
I showed my sympathy by calling to confirm the deal is still around. They renewaled it.

Sorry, anyone in my area had to call in to apply. I tried various zip codes in my town and the message to call in pops up. I'm in Oklahoma. I tried another state and didn't get the message, it would have let me apply.
You have to use debit card.
This was super easy -- Signed up two nights ago, got all of the set up info yesterday morning... Happened to be walking by a Wells Fargo at ~5:30pm yesterday, hours on door said open until 6pm... banker generated a temp. debit card in ~3min. Asked if he could put a note on my account saying that I would be making multiple purchases on Amazon in the next few days (as to not potentially get flagged for fraud for 10x $0.50 GC purchases), he said no problem.
Painless free money. It seems that a lot of you are making this more difficult than it actually is.
If you need a new bank account, great, keep it and keep your balance over $1500 or make 10x debit purchases per mo... if you don't, take your free money and close the account.
