I called Wells Fargo to confirm the deal. My wife was envious when I got a fat check from the previous deal.
I showed my sympathy by calling to confirm the deal is still around. They renewaled it.

No reason to get stuck with some eco-box. Do it right at a $25000 deposit for a $250k car. Cool
Well, when the pulling starts it is usually soft, and then it gradually gets hard as the pulling continues. Then once you have "credited" all over it gets soft again and that is when the pulling stops.
Can confirm that's the deal breaker for you.

Anyone else get a call from a Wells Fargo from a restricted number asking to verify your information to setup the new account?

Found it funny that before they would let me leave with a temporary card they printed out a piece of paper listing all of the actions they had taken on my account that day. Have they always done that, or is it just a response to the whole multiple account debacle?

Did anyone have to wait on a pin number? I was conditionally approved, then received an approved email, got a bunch of welcome emails (access to important documents, online bill pay, fund your account, etc). So I tried to sign up to access my online account, but when I put in my SS# and debit # it then wants a pin, I didn't sign up for a pin when filling out the application and a pin wasn't included with the card. There's nothing in the material I received about a pin.

So does Wells Fargo usually send one out after the card arrives?

The pin is mailed separately and I'm also waiting for the pin. However in my case, the website just can't recognize my SSN+debit card#, I can't even get to the page of entering pin.

looks like millennials are scared of talking to a phone representative, just like they are afraid of actually cash money. it's getting kind of entertaining.

no but I'd ignore it.

Some people are too lazy to read the FAQ, and some are too afraid to speak to a human on a phone, so they end up posting here hoping for an answer that will probably never come. Just as well I guess. LMAO

I've never had Wells Fargo, but I called them a little while ago to make sure my account was set up, she got me enrolled in online banking and I asked her about what forms I have to return and she didn't know what I was talking about, but my account seems to be active so I'm not going to worry about it, incidentally, there are no Wells Fargo's within 90 miles of me which when signing up I was unaware of. kind of wishing I'd have left it alone as Chase had been outstanding with their customer service and multiple branches around me. oh well afaik there are no minimums or fees with this Wells Fargo account so I'll just relax.
Read the account terms carefully. There ARE fees if you don't follow their rules. To avoid fees I think you had to do one of three things:

1. daily average balance of $1500
2. make 10 debit card transactions
3. have direct deposits in the amount of $500

I could be wrong about those so please follow up with your own research or refer to the wiki. Also know that zeroing your account out isn't the same as closing it
If there are no branches near you for WF, i'm not sure why you would get rid of chase especially since you seemed to like them. Maybe keep them both, but if not, i'd personally .
I'd opt for the tried and true near you (did intentionally try to make it rhyme).

After instant approval last week, more "welcome" emails today; card and PIN (sent separately) en route.
