I called Wells Fargo to confirm the deal. My wife was envious when I got a fat check from the previous deal.
I showed my sympathy by calling to confirm the deal is still around. They renewaled it.

I called back to see if they would just let me set up online access over the phone and the CSR said they couldn't, she also said that a PIN isn't required to set up online access but as we all know it is. Eventually she suggested I instead go into a branch for a new PIN or she could send me one that would arrive in 5-7 days.
This is getting ridiculous.

Not sure why they do this crap? I just wanna be able to make a login and see my $25 and go make a few 0.50 cent purchases at the store already
Wouldn't I technically be able to use this as credit in store or requires pin no matter what
Hopefully this time frame helps for those wondering how long the turnaround takes.

I saw a suggestion to do that to avoid having the repeated transactions be marked as fraudulent. But it may not be an issue for you.
