I called Wells Fargo to confirm the deal. My wife was envious when I got a fat check from the previous deal.
I showed my sympathy by calling to confirm the deal is still around. They renewaled it.

I was able to do nine back to back $0.50-$0.58 reloads @ Amazon without any problem..
Opened account, got approved but no card. Week later went into a branch of wells fargo and immediately got a temp card, with the card with my name arriving 3 days later. Dog immediately destroyed the card, but that's okay because I did the 10x amazon charges ($0.60, $0.65, $0.70, etc.)
it took 48 hours to get my credit (10x charges on 04/03 at night, credit is here today 04/05). Slick deal, free nintendo switch in my book

If you don't get them within 2 business days after you made the amazon payments just move on and make 10 real ones at a store. No need to call and complain that your cheat didn't work.
For those wondering, once I got my card in the mail I made 10 transactions to reload my gift card on amazon for both accounts. .50 .51 .52 etc. after about 2-3 days of "pending" the transactions posted to my account. While waiting for them to "post" I attached my checking account from my primary financial institution and verified it. About 24 hours after the 10 transactions posted, I got the pending $250 bonus. Easy $500.
The problem I had was that because I had a mortgage in my name years ago, they automatically associated the new checking account with the old web login. Since the system already showed a previous account it also didn't bother to issue a debit card. I had to call them twice to sort out getting online access to my account because I got locked out for not remembering my old login information from 6 years ago. Then got locked out again because they had me try and reset my password 3 times only to find out the system was undergoing maintenance and couldn't be done at the time. Once I got that sorted, I requested a debit card since I never got one and was transferred three times to get me to the right person.
I'd still do it again, but man, it sure reminds me of why I hated dealing with them when I had my mortgage. They need to get their crap together if they want to stay in business.
