The ASRock combo seems worth the extra $30 if you ask me. ASRock makes the best mobo's. Ridiculous that the ram costs more than the mobo though.

Same here, the Haswell line is still very capable for gaming! Just replaced my motherboard through RMA for my 4690K. I would have just bought another used z97 board if that didn't work out.

For gamers this is not worth it. If this card was on par with a 1080 maybe, otherwise save up and wait for a sale on 1080 and buy that if you can't get the 1080ti.
