I just got that too, after submitting a third-party price listed on amazon (for a "new" item). previously, citi matched third-party amazon sellers with no problem. This is clearly a scam to avoid...

I zoomed out and don’t see the phone number . see attachments. Discover has the best price protection program but it does not work for consumables.

citi is asking for a lawsuit. Nothing in their terms and conditions state you need to submit an itemized receipt to get a claim approved. Unless they've recently updated their terms and conditions....
