I am very confused about the Circle support on this router. I just bought the Circle device which is compatible with R6900P according to their website. Do I still need to pay subscription? Thanks!

No, you only have to pay if you use the software built into the routers for it. The hardware devices are no-subscription, unless you want mobile coverage outside the house.

Terrible router. Their support stops after 90days. Mine stopped connecting to Internet after 6 months. They insist you to buy a premium package to fix it. STAY AWAY FROM NETGEAR!

This is an OKAY router. It shat the bed with 34 devices and would consistently drop WiFi and give IP Configuration failures. I have about 20 smart switches and lights so that's why it wasn't being...

And there it is--the deal killer for me. I have never been impressed with Netgear firmware. I've got a netgear WNDR3400v3 here that is a paperweight because the firmware handles DHCP reservations...

RT-AC68U wins in my book. Maybe not for the price, but for hardware. If you can land one of those refurbished T-mobile Cellspots (in and out of stock) and aren't afraid of Linux/reflashing, you'll...

Any beneficial difference between this and the 6700? Price is essentially the same. Read some quick reviews on the 6900P resetting often on it's own, but that seemed to be around Costco bought...

Yup. I hate Netgear support. Their firmware would break the device and they would ask you to pay them to fix the issue they caused in the first place. However, I am not sure which other device...
