No. Occasionally just a bad unit. More often the door is out of balance/not working correctly and putting strain on the motor. Craftsman opener tells me it was most likely installed by a homeowner.

I have a craftsman opener less than 2 yrs old and now doesn’t work. It gives me an error code up arrow blink once and down arrow blink 5 times. Says either replace logic board or motor replacement....

Mighty mule is a Nortek brand. Linear is also a Nortek brand and also has a sizable footprint in the door/gate automation industry. I believe this is a rebranded unit with some smart home features......

I am not familiar with Mighty Mule - my concern is whether they will be around in 10 years to keep the software for wifi connection updated/secure. Anyone know anything about this company??
