I totally disagree. I bought this before Christmas and was hesitant due to me always using a reg throw away razor. When I used an electric shaver in the past, it always cut up my neck. I tried...

You either got a defective one or you are full of crap. I've owned a handful of electric razors in the past, and this one is by far the best. I've had it 2 years on the original blades. I have a...

For all of you who oil your shaver, which is a good idea, the special oil you buy for them and for clippers is just mineral oil. So save some $$$ and just use generic mineral oil.

I don't think any electric will be anywhere as good as a DE, but yeah, I too get the cuts if it's been more than a week between shaves.

As for convenience it's probably faster for me or about the same to shave with a razor since you'll likely have to make multiple passes with the electric. However, it is nice not to have to lather...

I wouldnt do it. Liquid soap and water on the bldes and letting it runs cleans it quickly. You can always use a hair dryer to quickly dry it but its unnecessary. I put some clipper oil every so often.
