I was planning on going with KEF Q750 and similar KEF products. Anyone have any input on how these would compare in terms of quality / value.

I wish they had a deal on these without the subwoofer, or just for those BR03s and BR08s. Still a decent deal if you need a compact sub or two with your system.

How are the triangles for HT use compared to the JBLs 5 series on sale? I would assume the triangles would be more suited for music...

that's my point though... when you're listening to HT, you def want a sub go below 20Hz, but when you're listening to music, do you really want that? maybe some base specific songs, i don't know,...

They will be fairly comparable. The KEF probably beats them aesthetically if that is important. The Triangle BR series is getting a lot pf praise from people who also have speakers in the...

I was watching other reviews on Rel's trying to pick the right one and seems the consensus is that T line is not the HT line, that's designed for boom and crash... but is a refined bass line that...

How does this compare to svs line???

These are definitely in a higher price bracket and are more premium speakers. Having said that I think most people would be happy with the Polks if you wanted to save money.

Looks like a good deal. Was considering emotiva T1+ or Klipsch RP5000f but might just go with these instead. Will probably sell the subwoofer and buy a Rythmik servo instead.

Chane speakers are probably good for blasting home theater but are not 2 channel speakers. They use steel core inductors, sand cast resistors and I highly doubt for the price they use poly caps. You...

So, I have to read a post from a kid who uses "wlhungdude" as a nickname. Joseph is so ignorant it's ridiculous. He has not a clue about high-end audio. Triangle and Focal are the two well known...

You joined 3 days ago to quote my reply. Nice. You may be right.. I haven't wasted my time with what an "audiophile" would call a "high-end" speaker. I auditioned the best speakers I've ever...

i love speaker threads. constant misinformation, people asking if the speakers they bought at dollar general are as good as some $1000 towers, subs that barely hit 30hz, good times all around.

Woohoo, that is one sweet setup.

This is only anecdotal, so take this as you wish, but I own two Rel subs (a 10" and 12") and they can't keep up with my 6" DT towers. They make adequate subs for a smaller 2.1 setups, but ultimately...

There is so much wrong with this.... First, thank you very much for all the great deals you've posted. I truly appreciate your time and effort. This is not a deal, let alone a 'slickdeal'. ...

For those looking to get a really good home theater system, get the system, sell the G7 for $600 and get a ported HSU, Rythmik, PSA. HSU VTF-2 can be had for about $600 delivered and is a much better...

Floorstanding speakers? Maybe worth it at sale price. Have heard of triangle speakers before with good praise and name recognition. Subwoofer? Wouldn't even use in a small desktop computer setting....

the way I understand is the following: HT (home theater sub) is concentrated on creating much stronger effectis on crashes, and other sound amplifications, like dropped pressure and car breaks...

Sorry, but wrong about the Triangle speakers. They are very good. And the T7 does what it's designed for very well. I believe they are overpriced and a sealed Rythmik sub is a better choice all...

what is the difference? I've never heard the term 'pure audiophile sub'. Joseph edit: just googled it, not much info there, but the first suggested product was the SVS SB2000, so....???

I second that Chane’s are amazing. I did a lot of digging for HT a few years ago and settled on them with Rythmik subs. Good to see others recommending them and checkout AVS Forums for info on all HT...

Listened Triangle in the past. They are very good speakers for music (I am not a HT guy), if there is free-return policy, you can buy and return if you don't like (Possibly, you will like what you...

I own the Q 700 and LS 50’s and love my system! I bi wired the Q 700’s paired with a emotiva XPS 5 channel and they sing! Got a nice PBNSD 12 for a nice setup for music and HT!

Okay, I'm out of my depth when it comes to massive HT systems, but this takes the cake even for me. Never ever even remotely heard of this brand, what do I need to know?

The sub is basically free with the single sub deal.

SVS line doesn't really have pure audiophile subs. they are mostly HT subs.. slightly different...

from the reviews, these are horn loaded, so much easier to drive, and have more warmer sound. Also, less base, I think (without subs). but that's about all I can say as I never heard them myself.

A few years ago i got some triangle plasier towers and center from a newegg deal. The plasier's weren't as pretty as the $800/tower color series, but otherwise the same drivers and crossovers....
