Although that's what Walmart.com states, it's seldom true. In my case, it only happened once in about a dozen orders that I didn't pick up for more than 1 month.

Yes, the "Cancellation Pending" items changed to "Return complete" and "Refund issued" at 2 weeks.
They were pick-up in store items.
Other items on the order were "for delivery", which cancelled...

FYI for my order, it actually shipped out even though I cancelled it like way before they shipped it. Ended up shipping 5 days later after I selected to cancel it.

Had this happen also, I've even had a cancelled item arrive at the store for pick up. Fortunately, for in store pick up, it cancels if you don't pick up within a certain amount of time.
