Every year I play exactly one civ game. I break down and install it, instantly lose an entire week of my life, bills and errands piling up, then come back to my senses and uninstall.

Gathering Storm is great and takes the mechanics from Rise and Fall. The only reason to grab Rise and Fall is if you want the additional leaders, IMO.

I have iPad Pro 2018 and it runs so slow. I think I picked 4 races and Pangea map. I can't say for recent iPad Pro but at least it was waste of money on my end.
