Or simply set them to record based on movement...and cut the estimate by 80% or better (depending on how active the "deers" are).

get a dash cam. i have a dash cam that records 20 min videos... when the memory gets full, it just delete the oldest 20 min video and creates a new 20 min video. Never have to erase unless i need...

I have 6 cameras recording 24/7 into a dvr. I get close to 3 weeks on a 1tb drive.
Yes, they have cameras that will track an object but that will cost you lots of $$$$

Actually, you can use either. The commonly accepted plural form is "deer", but it's not necessarily incorrect to say "deers". The same applies to "fishes", which I use on occasion myself.

No need to have 30fps. even 1 fps is plenty. WIth multiple cameras the computer will be tasked with heavy cpu power to process all those video feeds if in the highest detail.
