To this point... all that power is already going to drain the battery fast enough... Perhaps it was done so that it also didn't need to power a 4k display figuring most gamers would probably have 1+...

I travel a lot and am a game developer - I can never have too much power. But for that price, I'm all set with my 970m on the go. I'll leave the really heavy lifting to my rig at home.
