My favorite part about the Surface in the NFL is how the first year was basically a flop for them with it because all the announcers kept referring to them as "iPads".

It was the app gap for sure (Windows Phone still does not have Snapchat, Youtube, Twitch, Google Voice, any of the new popular games...). And the fact that Windows Phone was too late to the party...

Cuz surface at least runs windows programs. Windows phones require special apps coded for Windows phones. Too much work for developers, so since there aren't good apps on Windows phones nobody buys...

Not wrong. Unless op means surface tablets that run windows 8 rt, in which case it was the same issue as the phones in that you needed to download apps and not any Windows program would work because...
