Sorry to have missed you ML. I've been playing with my new HTC 8X. DH was due for a new phone so I finally took the plunge into the world of smartphones. No more pay as you go phones for me, I'm livin' large!
Finally justified the expense of a smart phone after deciding that being able to price check and search for reviews when I'm out shopping, plus not missing deals while out and about would save some money and save some time. Any apps you would recommend ML? I hear there's this newfangled website called SlickDeals, that has an RSS feed.

![]() not surprisingly, today has flown by. I ended up taking the morning off, trying to rest my poor feet and back. Went and got breakfast tacos from Torchy's with my friend who was in town, I think he finally got it when I said we had to get breakfast taco when we stepped in and he saw all the options they have ![]() then I drove him to the airport, and the line at ABIA was out the door There was a 747 at the end of the terminal, gate 2, that said United Charters on the side of it. Of the other gates I could see, I didn't see anything smaller than a 737, no regional jets at all, which is not normal for Austin by any means As I drove out I saw there was already a 747 cargo plane on another ramp to the side, I guess it's time for the circus to move down to Brazil. ![]() I hope they cover in the news what sort of flights the airport actually saw, since at one point they were talking about creating a temporary customs facility (but didn't). I know there was at least one charter 747, but I don't know how many more. at one point I did see that they claimed 300 additional flights had registered for the weekend, from cessnas and private jets up to the charter 747s. Even as I was standing in line to take the bus back to downtown I saw a few private jets take off from ABIA. Forgot there were towels in the washer and clothes in the dryer. Won't be going to bed just yet. The weather was terrible today, hope it's a bit better tomorrow so I can get the rest of stuff for turkey day.

slowly slogging through photos not even editing yet, just trying to rank and get rid of the obvious garbage I've already culled the herd from Friday from nearly 600 to under 350 I think the ones that aren't that good but I want to keep I'll convert to .jpg, there's just too many files I know I'll never edit again for them to be taking up 25 MB per photo

I bought a new case for negatives and photos about two months ago with the intention of organizing all my old photos that aren't in albums. Still haven't started on it yet. Surfing on the interwebz (especially playing online games) is taking up way too much of my time.

[flickr.com]bobble... [flickr.com] by mrlaugh [flickr.com], on Flickr Realized I caught this as I went through free practice 3 photos this evening.. Hamilton is mid correction in the photos, steering hard right as he exits the left hand turn 9. Saw a lot of that over the weekend, the track was slick and turn 9 is slow, so lots of slipping as they put the power down on the way to 10. Sadly, I'm out of time. won't get to my qualifying or race day photos until I get back from Wisconsin. Too many photos, not enough time

Won't you need some warm clothes?
![]() Some of the ski slopes have opened here. I think they're a little bit early but not by much. Guess there will be a lot of people skiing on turkey day.
