Read tonight that Bahrain is going to bump Australia next year for the first F1 race of the season. Nothing official until August though.

I'd never heard of him either but I didn't watch F1 prior to DH moving here in 2002. But DH said he handled the broadcasting for other countries, not just in the UK and was THE broadcaster (best known) for F1. Dontknow

Scratchchin Dontknow for better or worse, much of my F1 history comes from the Senna documentary, I don't think they interviewed him for the film, which seems a bit strange

Annoyed Sleepy2

Stupid FM pain woke me up at 2. Took a vicodin and laid there for an hour as it only dulled the pain a bit. Finally gave up on trying to get back to sleep and got up to use the heating pad.

EEK! I guess it's about that time again Faint been a pretty long day.

Called the back cracker, but the message made it sound like nearly everyone was out on vacation this week. Then the PT clinic finally called me back, my insurance approved five more PT visits. couldn't get in until Friday afternoon, though.

Tomorrow I'm at least starting a little late, then I'm driving up to Arlington in the afternoon Whee

Yawn DH is working late and I'm fading. Might have to put his dinner in the fridge and go to bed. He'd already said to do it but I was hoping he'd finish soon and come home.

Ninja at my hotel room in Arlington. It might not be my day shake head

Got the work car, with an oil service light on and a low tire pressure warning light. Found the pump in the car, had to inflate the right front from 23psi to 33psi. Ignored the oil change light, we don't control when the oil gets changed.
Got onto the northern suburbs of Austin and a wrench icon warning light comes on. Stopped and called the office, nobody was sure what to do. I ended up driving to Arlington anyway. It only comes on after ten + minutes of driving. Same thing happened to me in the other office car of the same model. Wasn't a major repair, the guy in the office couldn't even remember what it was.

Still south of Waco, in a construction zone, a rock kicks up behind a big rig, hits the windshield, and sure enough chips the glass. Couple of small cracks, about in inch at the longest, so it can probably be filled yet.
Get to my hotel, have a very good dinner next door at salt grass steakhouse. About ninety minutes ago, I see a big bug on the wall. Ten minutes ago I saw it again, managed to crush it against the wall. Pretty sure it's a cockroach, about two inches long. I'm glad I'm not super freaked out about bugs.

Hopefully tomorrow goes better. Two meetings in Arlington, then the trip back to Austin.
