And considering the x90j 75 in was as low as $1,600, the x90j is actually a better deal overall.
The perplexing thing is how rtings.com poorly rated the local dimming on the samsung. It's got thousands of zones cuz it's a neo qled. Yet scored less than the Sony.

What about reflections and viewi g angle? This one beats x90j pretty badly...
I'm considering buying a qn85 85 from Costco just because 90 day return policy and they will adjust on TV's up to 90 days

The 75" QN84A is a Best Buy exclusive model which features 40 Watt 2.2 Channel sound, as well at Object Tracking Sound Lite that virtually tracks objects moving across screen and products sound. The QN85A features 60 Watt 2.2.2 Channel sound with Object Tracking Sound that adds two height speakers to provide you with 3D sound with dedicated speakers that track every movement on the screen. The QN85A has 240 Hz and the QN84A has 120 Hz. To put this in perspective, the QN80A has a 240 Hz motion rate. This helps get rid of the blur which can be seen in fast paced scenes in movies and sports. Another thing is QN84 is QLED panel whereas QN85 is NEO QLED panel.
Sounds worth it to me. Imo.
