Deal History includes data from multiple reputable stores, such as Best Buy, Target, and Walmart. The lowest price among stores for a given day is selected as the "Sale Price".
Sale Price does not include sale prices at Amazon unless a deal was posted by a community member.
I think anyone with a paid membership would get one.
I'm on the cheapest paid plan (not Ultimate) and I got the email and logging in I do get the offer to redeem it. Double check.
EDIT: Thought about getting it but.... Techradar review though isn't great on this device, can get a Nintendo Switch for $250, whereas this needs an internet connection to play anything...
This is the only buy sillier than a PS Portal. This is a bad buy at $50 let alone this price.
Run...
Is this made for ppl who don't own cell phones? I'm surprised it's not the official Xbox handheld. Seems like that's all it can do is cloud.. like the stadia. But for windows? Nvidia dropped their nvidia shield and pc stream once they focused on Nintendo switch.
It's pretty sad, nobody really talks about this. It's been overshadowed by the others. Also, it highlights that subscriptions are the main purpose. By that logic, they should just offer this much cheaper since the business is subscriptions.. not the hardware. And I don't like subscriptions, it's like leasing a car or house. Not a deal.
Not sure why someone down voted you for providing links to RGC.
I wanted to like this so much, but once you realize this a glorified phone controller, it's not worth more than a $100
I couldn't tell anyone why but SD most definitely has 1+ users that go on many of the game-related deals and down vote comments for absolutely nothing. I've been having it happen to me for months and I'm sure others have too. It's hard to fathom having so much time that trolling SD for comments to down vote is an activity of choice but based on my experience, I think there are at least a few folks doing just that.

I own this handheld, but I bought it used on eBay for $199 and I think it's a fantastic device. There are other, better handhelds out there, Steam Deck at the top of the stack, IMO. But brand new from the manufacturer for $240 is not that bad. Yes, $199 is better.
It's lightweight with a large, high quality screen. If you want it for streaming games, great. It works really well for Xbox and PS5. You're not going to find something with a screen that large with a controller attached for that price that does all it can do. Can you buy a separate controller for your phone, sure. But the screen won't be that big. If that's not apples vs. oranges, it's small apples vs big apples.
As an emulation device, yeah, it's a little weak. You can play up to PSP. Some PSP games you can do at upscaled resolution, which is even nicer. But to be fair, you could buy an Odin 2 at $299 ($60 more) and play everything (on a smaller screen) without a hiccup.
So is it a GREAT deal? No. But is it a good deal? Yeah, I think it is.
Why not get a refurbished og steam deck for this price?
If you can get a Steam Deck, even refurbished, for this price, you'd be crazy not to.
Granted the Steam Deck has a lower resolution screen and it's a lot heavier, but it's miles better than the G Cloud (and I really like the G Cloud). They're in the same sport, but wildly different leagues.

Basically comparing a hammer and a screwdriver. Yes, you can force overlap but each has their own niche.
