I want to say this is the lowest I've seen.
I bought one a few months back for a bit more
Recently tried it out. It is indeed pretty awesome.
I used to say the same thing when they first introduced battery drill/screw driver. I could not imagine anyone so lazy to just screw in a screw or pull out an extension cord to do their work.

I was even put to shame when someone decades younger than me was chopping wood, as they had no electric or gas heater in their house, and they were in their late 80s. Some people may not have the overall strength for repeated cuts (this couple lived in the woods) and this might have been great for them...although they probably would have said they did not need it.

I also know people who drive into their 90s and I personally wish they would take an Uber or Taxi and not drive... but they say don't be ridiculous ... they have been driving for years.

There are also people who love to garden and now have arthritis, but still like to get out and work the yard and this could be a help.

There are lots of reasons for this.

The same could be said for battery/electric hedge trimmers. Who really needs them, but give someone with 5+ acres and lots of bushes, that could be a life saver!

Your friend has shared a link to a Home Depot product they think you would be interested in seeing.

$89 if you prefer to buy from HD

Your link didn't work for me, maybe this one is better. I haven't checked

https://www.homedepot.com/p/DEWAL.../318014123

Forget it the one I posted didn't work either.

Just search for Dewalt Pruner on the Home Depot website or app.

Both still work on my end, maybe it's something with your security software, not sure.

If anyone does a lot of pruning, this is the way to go! We used ours extensively after the winter storms that hit central Texas a few years back. This pruner was a dream come true. Get one!

About how many seconds does it take you to cycle through a cut? Only asking because I got a lower grade/cost Sunjoe and was disappointed with how slow it was. Some people on SD seemed to recommend this make if you had a good quantity of cuts and it sounded like you did. Thanks

I've had a deal alert set for this for a while, thanks for the post and the commentors.

Chose to get this from Home Depot. The shelf price was $119 but it rang up at $89. You can sign up for text marketing on their site and they'll text you a scannable coupon for $5 off an in store $50+ purchase which will drop it to $84 (doesn't go to your email, takes about 5 minutes to be texted to you, and you can't use it for a pickup order). Eligible Veterans can also get the always running 10% discount as well of course.

All in all, it was $82.23 for me in store this morning *after* 9.5% sales tax.

Edit for $5 off coupon link:

They've been a bit cheaper. I got one in Feb for a bit over $60. Seems like a lot of complaints and probably returns are due to these having brushed motors and therefore being a bit sparky. You probably won't notice using it outside but inside the house or in dim light you'll see it. Mines been running like a champ.

That would be cheaper than most of the manual Felco brand.

Just picked mine up from HD for $75.99. Had coupon & it worked well. A little on the heavy side. I normally use my manual pole cutter so wish this had a pole hookup.

I have the Ryobi and Ridgid cutters. The cuts are very fast even on thick branches. I have to remind my self to slow down between cuts because if you tend to make short cuts your fingers will end up extremely close to the blades. I tend to forget how dangerous this tool can be because it makes no noise compared to a chainsaw or other cutters. One wrong move and your will be missing a finger.

Sorry, but if you can't prune manually by squeezing the pruners, you are a lazy, weak bastard.

I'm all for power tools when needed, but this is ridiculous…

You should come say that to my face. It won't be that exciting but I will look at you wondering why you think I care what your opinion is on anything.
