This is the same pressure washer as the Husqvarna model 020798 that Costco carries. Apparently during COVID the concept of "reverse supply chain" came about and B&S (they own Murray) began refurbishing and rebadging these to sell to retailers at a huge discount. From what I can see it's fairly well reviewed (if you exclude the operator error reviews). I really want to pull the trigger but I'm weary of the 90 day warranty. Someone talk me into this
Said no one ever
The 950 series engine from Briggs and Stratton is solid. 208cc and 9.5 torque rating. B&S filed bankruptcy and if I recall many of their engines are made in China. Make sure to use synthetic oil and change it as soon as you get it. Also avoid ethanol gas or use an additive. Those China carbs hate ethanol. Nice deal. The engine alone runs $370+. If your unit is missing a hose or tips, you can find tips on eBay or Amazon. Good hoses are expensive. You can use the hose and wand from a broken electric washer someone is tossing out. Those are on FBM or at the curb all the time. Don't buy the cheap plastic hoses on Amazon. They're junk and kink.

Woot responded with a refund and no need to return the product. I think They responded like They should. Let's see if I can fix this thing now.

Mine came today. Box was somewhat intact, no holes at least, but tape was loose and there was absolutely zero bubble wrap/padding. There was oil spilled on the engine near the filler cap. One of the frame uprights was bent, blocking the water inlet. Probably could bend it back and use it but I'll see if I can get a refund or discount. All other parts seem fine, came with hose, wand, and oil pouch.

I'll add to the horror stories, my box looks like it's been through a war. One of the wheels is sheared off at the hub, rust on the carburetor and paint gouges down to the metal. I told CS it is a far cry from "Fully functional product in Like New Condition. Item may have very light micro-scratches, invisible at a distance of 8-12 inches (arm's length)." Looks like there's some oil leaking in the box too, see if I can get a full refund.

I'm going to add to my previous comment. I figured I'd try getting it running and deal with the bent upright if it works. Well, I get no water coming out of the pump at all. Nada. Zilch. This is gonna be a refund. Never buying anything "refurbished" from woot again.

Same issue with packaging but no oil leaks. I have a small crack in the air filter cover but it seems superficial. I think I have all the parts as well but I know this thing had to have taken a few tumbles on the way here. I need to test it out today. Has anyone actually used theirs without issues?

Mines was packaged the same as everyone else. Two sheets of bubble wrap. Box looked like it rolled down the hill. Gas tank dented in but no visible holes. The fasteners that secures the handle bars were missing. Checked the engine oil, there was like a few drops of old oil still in there. Drained what's left in there and filled it with the bag of oil provided (thank god it wasn't punctured and it only needed about 75%-80% of what was in the bag). Pour a little bit gasoline and attached the hoses and spray gun (nozzles tips were missing). Pulled the cord and the SOB ran pretty fine. Didnt get the powered spray from the gun bc of the missing nozzle but water still came out with some force.

My engine and pump look to be brand new so I'm assuming all of ours are?

Briggs actually makes this (and many other) pressure washers and then private labels them for Husqvarna etc.

I also drained the small remaining amount of oil, added the new oil, verified the spark plug was new, added some gas, and it fired up with ease. Attached the hoses/gun and it worked perfectly fine.

So aside from the shipping disaster and dents this seems to be a solid 3200 psi pressure washer for $160 (+ tax).

Isn't there supposed to be a pressure control knob here? Nevermind. Looking at the similar costco husqvarna model it looks the same, so maybe there's just no control valve on this.

I am having some issues getting mine started and I'm starting to wonder if the needle in the carburetor is busted like on this YouTube video . 9 minutes into it he finds the busted needle in the carburetor.

Story of mine and how crappy Woot has been so far.
Received damaged, Wheel broken, tank bent in a little. No Oil bag, no hose, no gun, no tip, no strap, no hardware. Its also the model with the soap tank, so 2.5gpm vs the 2.7 ordered. Box beat to crap, giant hole in it and wide open.
They offered me three options, 1 send it back for refund, 2. They would ask supplier if they could send me the missing parts or 3. $35 back, lol
No way to mail it back, box is destroyed. I say, you will have to send me a box. There reply, you can go ahead and buy one on your own, and then send us the receipt and we will reimburse you. WTF! What company does that?
My last reply, im not sending it back and you can fully refund me or I will request a charge back with CC. I dont even know if this thing will run or not. And I've been a customer for over 10years.
Their replies are usually 2 days delayed and a different representative each time.

It's mind boggling how inconsistent their customer service replies are. I emailed them about the issues I had with mine (see my posts above for details), but the frame was bent and the pump didn't put any water out with the supply hooked up and running. They refunded me the full amount and told me to keep it. My engine never had any fuel in the tank, there was some oil on the exterior of the engine, pretty sure never had any in it. It started second pull after filling with oil and fuel. The pump is $70 on Amazon. Seems like I'll have a pretty decent PW for $70.

I sent an email regarding the damage to mine. They asked for pictures which I just sent. Waiting to see what the outcome is. I don't care if they want it back, but I have no desire to haul this thing anywhere and the box is a mess. They can come get it if they want it…
