OP you should include the format in your post title: 2230 . It works for steam deck.
Bought this back in Sept for $90. Installed in Steamdeck with no issues. Solid deal
The MODS keep adding the Microsoft Surface to these deals. It's not a good idea to use this in a Surface. The Microsoft OEM SSDs are enclosed and use the base of the SSD as a heatsink into the tablet chassis. If you run these as a bare drive, you're going to have a lot of random reboots from overheating. Some people on YouTube make videos about putting a heat pad on the top of the SSD, but since that only interfaces with the SSD cover, it isn't effective.

Has anyone tested the compatibility of this SSD with this enclosure https://www.amazon.com/Hagibis-Ma...B0CSNWDJPC on an iPhone 15 Pro for ProRes?

Does this being a gen 4x4 make the loading times faster on steam deck or does the decks internals slow it down so it is wasted speed?

I can confirm that the Mini CORE 2230 (which is different model which was released later than this one) works in the magnetic Hagibis with my iPhone 15 Pro Max. I haven't used it extensively, but it did work when I tested it out.

I believe this item, the MP600 Core, has a higher power consumption. I would worry that the iPhone would not provide sufficient power without an external power source to power the drive.

CORE Mini was released in 2023, regular CORE was 2021. CORE Mini is slightly faster and uses less power. However, CORE Mini has less MBTF and much less TBW than the CORE, unless you are worried about power consumption, the CORE is probably better than the CORE Mini.

It's also a great little replacement for people who bought one of those Dell 7070 UFF computers.

I doubt it's going to make any difference to game loading times either way.

Steamdeck is PCIE 3. Probably doesn't matter, though.
