how does it get "locally". Magic?
what impact is it having it come from an Amazon warehouse vs a warehouse delivered to your local store?
Some seasonings can come from wheat, barley or rye. It's important for some people (like my daughter with celiac) for those words to be on there. Gluten shows up in so many places that one wouldn't think. It's so weird.

If you don't need gluten free, I would highly recommend getting the Better Than Bullion brand paste. It's way cheaper per serving and takes up less room because you just add it to boiling water. If you want the most nutritious stock, homemade is best, but it is the least convenient.
Why would anyone order this through Amazon???? The last few food deliveries from Amazon the contents were crushed and spilled all over the inside due to no additional protection. Everything I receive from Amazon is thrown into a box larger than necessary with no additional padding.
