After I made the mistake of ordering the Samsung A9+ and discovering that it was a TFT display, I would not buy this without seeing the display in person or having a good return policy. I don't spend it much time gaming and didn't need a 90 hz refresh rate. That's why I'm always looking for an IPS display because it's nice not to have to hold tablet in one particular angle just so that the screen doesn't start to look weird. (Samsung buries the fact that the A9+ has a TFT display on the specifications of the product page by not specifying the type of the display and by omitting the viewing angles).
I don't recall that B&H charged me a restocking fee for the A9+, but the return label cost me more than I would want to have paid for the chance to evaluate the tablet in person.

Last time I checked, most, if not all, reviews online have stated the fact that the A9 plus is a TFT yet have given it stellar reviews and considered the best budget tablet in the market now. You're not enlightening or discouraging us from the A9 plus.
Also, if you click on "View More" on Samsung's product page, it's literally mentioned "TFT" at the beginning section of the specs. No hiding.

It has been fantastic for those things. I was gonna spring for the tmobile samsung, that is about this size, but 3-4x the price, and I'm glad I saved my money. The big selling point for me on this is the resolution. every tablet out there I could find under 150 has a max res of like something x 800, this is the only one with a higher res, which is necessary for reading text, but the larger size also makes it great for magazines.
you will absolutely fill up the 32gb on this FAST. I wish android still let you install apps on the sd card, because if I could at least move the video apps like hulu, max, plex, etc and store videos I would be able to use this better on the plane for watching movies...
if you wanted to use this for anything beyond reading or watching video in bed you will likely be disappointed but if you have simple needs and want to save SEVERAL hundred dollars, and are on tmobile, you'd be hard pressed to beat this tablet!
Might be better than an Amazon fire tablet.

What the heck is your point? The member is sharing their experience with a tablet and their disappointment with the screen. Nothing you say contradicts that, who cares what other reviewers say about it, it doesn't change the fact that THEY returned it because of the screen
