Current gen CPU
16:10 display (albeit 45% NTSC which sucks, but again, under $400 compromise here)
16 GB of RAM (definitely not something common under $400)
USB-C that supports charging and monitor out (doesnt mention thunderbolt but seems like its close to being that?)
Not a completely laughable battery at 56.6wh (lots of laptops this cheap will have sub 50wh batteries)
It even has a 1080p webcam, not 720p
Tons of I/O including 2 USB-A, 2 USB-C, HDMI, micro SD card reader...
These are all features combined that make this a really good deal overall for the price. My hones only gripe is getting a SLIGHTLY better display than the garbage 45% NTSC ones, but if thats the only real compromise of this laptop (not only 8 GB of RAM, no USB-C charging/displayout/thunderbolt, 720-p webcam, etc etc) its something you can live with.

B&H is certainly reputable. However, their return & refund policy is something I'm unsure off.
Also, I'm unable to source this exact model with another retailer who would be willing to price match B&H
Oh, that's a poor weird policy let's say the laptop is defective or damaged what can I do? simply lose my money!? Do you have any experience with them or what?
Am I biased?
P.S., free shipping to Canada, if that's where you are located. I feel CA$400 would sounds like a fairer price.

I wonder how much extra it would cost manufacturers to add Thunderbolt with 3x display support? If it was $50 or less, I'd be willing to pay it.
I'd also prefer side vents for cooling since it's a dumb design to attempt pulling air from the underside... the side you're putting on top of some surface. Then it exhausts into the thin crack between the display and laptop. At least, that's how my cheap HP is designed, and it's noisier than it needs to be had it been engineered better.
Also note, this price appears to be a one day sale, ends at midnight.
While they do not allow laptop returns their return / exchange policy states, "Defective or Damaged Items
Defective items may be repaired, exchanged or refunded at our discretion for the same model or manufacturer's equivalent model. Return shipping fees for verified defective or damaged items will be reimbursed."
Not sure if that policy applies to nonreturnable items.
This seems to be only drawback. Can't upgrade say after 2 years. As per specs in manual 2x8GB both soldered

Well, do you recommend purchasing it from them? Another thing I know it's a silly question but I have to ask it! it's my first time buying anything from their website it's a new laptop right!? not refurbished or used cause they don't have something like condition: new or anything that indicates the product's condition!
