If your just looking for a tv for a spare bedroom etc u6 is fine but honestly based on that need you can find something else cheaper.
Just 120hz is worth $130 more, at least to me. I picked up the u7g for $300 in last year's refurb deal

What's the best 55" out there for under 400?
1. There is no ATSC 3.0 support which isn't a huge deal right now but I suspect will be annoying to not have in the future
2. Almost all the reviews are incentivized so I don't really trust them
3. Hisense has a poor reliability/QA record
4. This years models of TV's are about to be released which should make the older models like this cheaper soon
5. The HDR brightness isn't that good
This is still the cheapest TV that has local dimming though the next cheapest is the 55U7K [bestbuy.com] for $480

There are some tlc tvs that are "good" I'd watch some reviews because certain things might or might not matter depending on the user.

Yeah, I agree. I pretty much only buy electronics exclusively from Costco

Same here, wishing it was in stock at costco but may have to settle for BB
