Just spend 2 mins comparing products on Sams website and you'll see this is the case for so many common items.
Also, their house brand Member's Mark products are some good quality products for the price, check the reviews, lots of pictures with unbiased reviews. So many people love Members Mark products. My household uses their plates, cutlery, furnishings, and their toilet paper and paper towels consistently and everybody that comes over asks where I bought them they are so impressed. Wide range of high quality products. Go see for yourself.
I have both Sams and Costco memberships because Sams carries equal or higher quality cuts of meat as Costco + totally different variety of items than Costco. I don't even get the gas at Sams yet its membership is invaluable to my household.

I don't need those quantities, most people don't. You also don't need to buy those brands. Walmart sells their off- brand for less. It's easy to cherry pick items, but overall Walmart is cheaper.

A few years ago, sometimes at the register they would give you a gift card or free chicken or something if you upgraded then and there.
I never joined Sam's Club but I know people who like it a lot. I
I have in mind a large purchase but I really want to use PayPal credit. Anyone know if they accept PayPal ? Thanks

I'd have to agree sams is way better than Walmart. Scan and go is a god sent, the meat quality is better than most markets, the house brand makes excellent stuff. I recently bought paper plates at Walmart 200ct thinking I'd save a few bucks, worst plates I've seen bleed rite threw any liquid and flimsy as hell , previous had members mark plates and 100xs better . Members mark trash bags are fairly cheap and as thick as glad or hefty . I could go on and on I renewed my membership mainly for the steaks , excellent quality steaks I can't find in any other super market. I have bj's also but there meats are trash and I hate searching for coupons before buying. Sams is cheaper than bjs for most items anyway even with a coupon!

We were picking out some steaks once at Sams and talked to the head butcher. He said that their Choice grade was close to Prime grade, and compared favorably to the Prime that grocery stores like Kroger & Safeway carried.
There are a few butcher channels on youtube that talk about this. One gave a tip on picking out T-bone steaks from Sams that were nearly a filet mignon with a bone attached. Filet at the price of a T-bone.
