Any other businesses do something more creative than collaborate with nintendo IP?
We have so many boba shops in town but kung fu tea is one of the worse ones to go to Even including restaurants that sell them on the side; the tea scene has become just over sweetened beverages and less about tea and health benefits
Has anyone tried costco frozen brown aldugar boba. My family bought a box and it's just buried in back of freezer. Just need to add milk and tea and mix the tapioca balls in. I might try to make a boba tea ice cream someday using ninja creami but after processing the boba balls might just get blended in rather than staying intact
Every single boba popping and tapioca and just literally EVERY single beverage variation I've tried at 2 local Boba places have been ridiculously unbearably sweet. I've even asked for less sugar or syrup or whatever they do (like trying different flavored bubbles ,tapioca or square jelly bubbles etc..) I bet it is not this sweet in other countries lol. I really want to like it but damnnnnn I can't take all the sweetness
It's really easy to make boba, and it's cheap.
Make some tea (black, Thai, whatever). Brew it, add sweetener as desired, add evaporated milk as desired. Then you buy a big bag of tapioca pearls, and a big bag of boba straws.
Now you can have boba whenever you want with as many tapioca pearls as you want.

I probably had boba tea first about 25 years ago. In general, they have almost always been very sweet drinks.

Specially "bubble tea" or "milk tea" was never about health benefits. Always a tasty sugary drink and fun to have because of the boba/tapioca. KFT is fine. But if you're looking for actual good tea in your bubble tea/milk tea I would go elsewhere

It's good but too sweet for me. Tastes like most generic bubble tea joints around me, so pretty average and not bad for a quick fix.
Kung fu tea has really good tea compare to most other Boba tea shops. Their original black tea is my favorite as it has a very nice floral note. The nice thing is you can order the sweetness level and it would be dispensed by the machine, not a person eyeballing it. I don't know where you live but here tea shops average price is about 7 dollars a drink. Definitely a luxury item, but then again isn't any food/drinks to go are considered luxury items?
Some boba tea places use syrup with high sugar content to save time. So to cut down on sweet they would add more ice or tea. Boba tea for me is dessert, I get it once in a while so I accept the unhealthy aspect along with its epicurean benefits. Trending now is Vietnamese ca phe kem muoi (salted foam coffee).

Unless you really love Princess Peach its only worth a trip when they run their B1G1 and even then the two drinks will barely fill up most people
Also watch out for their boba, it is super sweet and tastes off at times depending on flavor

You can but the quality of ingredients is mid to poor.
