Lol, what do you mean fill you up? It's not a meal replacement.
There was a local boba shop used to sell a special drink - "Lunch Special". It is a more than 1200's calories filled boba tea, including all different kinds of boba, jellies, pudding, and some other high calories items in there. I ordered it for lunch sometimes in the summer . Sadly, that boba tea shop closed down during the pandemic.
Has anyone tried costco frozen brown aldugar boba. My family bought a box and it's just buried in back of freezer. Just need to add milk and tea and mix the tapioca balls in. I might try to make a boba tea ice cream someday using ninja creami but after processing the boba balls might just get blended in rather than staying intact
I have not had that, but shelf stable ones you add milk/water too are pretty solid. They also have sone dragon fruit ready to drink ones that are solid. The only frozen Boba thing I had is the ice cream bar, and that was the mostly godly ice cream bar I've ever had.
They do but the boba itself that they use is ultra sweet. If you search on google or reddit you will see people avoid Kung Fu just bc of the boba (for those looking just for boba teas)
the sweetness and taste are not the issue it's the fact you are paying $7-8 for an 11 oz drink that's highway robbery
Starbucks charges $6 for their 24 oz crafted drinks and they are known to be overpriced.
i always have to buy two because one isnt enough and that's $13 something which is nuts for a slushie drink
Their medium is 16 Oz and large is 24 Oz. Not sure who gave you an 11 oz.. for a price of their standard large drink with toppings like bubbles or jellies.
$6-$7 is for a freshly brewed and made LARGE 24 oz bubble tea or a slush.
I would also say, you can customize sugar level for most of their drinks. So always ask them to 70% or even 50% sugar. Usually, they come out great. You can also ask them to make sure the boba doesn't gave any Honey water when they put it in. So let the Honey water drain before they add to the drink. They are usually very good with accommodating requests like that.

I mean when I go get a drink from Starbucks or any other establishment i am thirsty, i drink the drink and it fills me up (an expression i didnt think i would ever have to explain in my lifetime)
I can't say I'm surprised Mrgreed needs 2 bubble teas at a time. I'm not saying they are huge, but I love bubble tea and much as any other fein and there is no way I'm putting down 2, even if I wanted too.
I am 0.3% body fat and work out not a slob that needs a wheelchair to get around so i dont get short of breath
Most people are used to drinking a 12 oz cola, so when you get handed a smaller 8 oz can even though its 4 oz less it makes a difference psychologically.
If 11 oz of a beverage is enough for you thats awesome, but i only get Kung Fu when it's ordered and 90% of the time all the guys get two drinks whether its B1G1 or not. Girls it varies most dont want to spend $14 on two drinks.
Also most people are not cool with spending $7-9 on 11 oz of a sub par beverage
lmao for the ppl complaining - just either get 50 or 75% sweet and half serving boba. my usual order at any brand shop boba teas is 75% and half serving boba, so it's not just kung fu tea.
*yall are forgetting this is a deal for bag, and not just buying 2 drinks -__-

Unless you really love Princess Peach its only worth a trip when they run their B1G1 and even then the two drinks will barely fill up most people
Also watch out for their boba, it is super sweet and tastes off at times depending on flavor

Both are horrible

Kung Fu Tea are 7-9 and 11 oz
$2-3 more for half the drink amount id say that's wildly different

it's different markets my boy. starbucks can afford to do that with 5000+ establishments compared to 100+
