Cons
1. Heavy – Especially compared to my dell Inspiron 13 5310 (I know that's a slightly smaller laptop but still the weight difference is massive)
2. Only 1 thunderbolt 4 port
3. Touchscreen not the greatest imo. I was trying to read a manga by swiping using the touchscreen and so many missed swipes. Unusable for swiping to read manga like an iPad (let me know if there is a fix for this)
Overall, very few laptops at this price point come with thunderbolt, which I need to connect to my monitors. So even though I am dis-appointed with the touchscreen, I plan to keep it.

Undervolting is generally done to decrease temps and throttling. That can both improve performance and battery life. I've successfully done it on older Intel laptops. Problem is I'm unsure if the 1220p in this Asus supports undervolting.

Underclock is not the same as undervolt. Unervolting entails reducing the power supplied to the CPU closer to the actual CPU's needs. The manufacturer sets the power amount a bit higher to account for the differences in the individual units. You literally take off those few watts of difference if your specific unit allows it (silicon lottery). This can only have positive effects both for the battery and performance. The clock stays the same.
Underclocking just.. reduces the CPU clock, i.e. performance. Can't think of much utility there.
2.1 But can only 4K60hz per intel spec sheet for i3-1220p cpu
usb-c with Displayport and PowerDelivery
mine also has light bleed ;(
Battery life is like 5-6 hr of video watching.

However I did download a utility UXTU that shows an option of lowering Power Limit, factory setting are at 35 W. Forgive my ignorance but if I lower this power limit could this possibly help with battery life?

Also for sale at office depot for $520. So not MC exclusive.
Notebookcheck doesn't have samples for the 1220p but they suggest it should be close to a 1240U.

If they lower to $239 at my MC I'll go get one to play around with.
I am actually fine with 5-6 hrs.lol since that was how much battery time the motile was. I do wish that we have microsd slot as well as ethernet port though

And until you mentioned it, I didn't realize this unit does not have a SD slot!
For those of you with experience with 12 gen Intel processor, how much better is this processor compared to an 11th gen? The reason I ask is im looking at a ThinkPad sold at Costco which has an 11th gen processor:

Any thoughts on which one is a better laptop?
