I ordered at this price. Amex gives me 120$ off of 599, and I had a chase offer of 5% cash back. Dell allows split payments, so I split 600 on Amex and 1650 with chase. So I should be getting this for around 2050$. I did not upgrade any of the components as dell is ripping you off here. I bought a 2tb WD SN850X for 150 and 64 GB of ram for 150$ to do it myself. I thought about the CPU upgrade and realized I stopped overclocking any of my stuff now for stability, and I couldn't justify the i9 for the extra ecores.
With a 4090? Not a chance.

You can knock $400 off by choosing the 4080.
Jebus. At that price you could sell the GPU and keep the rest for almost free.

I mean, it depends. Removing the GPU and listing on ebay or whatever would take 15 minutes. Time to sell and price will be location based. Lets say a flat $1600. You now have a decent PC for about $550 after CB. Closest you'll come to that is $700 from Costco, and you give up the 1000W psu and liquid cooling, but you do gain 3yr warranty.

My recommendation is go for 13900k cpu, this has almost doubled the cpu benchmark compared with the 13700, for 270$ difference

Maybe. But most likely would have to settle for 1500$ or less. At that point it stuck with a shell for over 700+$. U can find decent PC for less than 500$ lnew and as low as 300$ open box or used even. Plus once you remove the gpu you no longer need a 1000watt psu unless you are adding another gpu at which time is literally pointless. Lol. Just my thoughts tho.

This could extend the life cycle of whole build to last at least 2 years more, for $270? Yes worth it

Maybe he meant selling the 4090 and get something like 3070ti for cheap. You get almost a free game system which can still play most games at 1440p.

Yea I get it. But really not worth the hassle. Might as well keep the beast of a GPU.

Worth it just for the 512gb SSD.
Not every day you see that much storage in a system with a 4090.

I'm seeing $300 for 13th Gen Intel® Core™ i9-13900K (32 MB cache, 24 cores, 3.00 GHz to 5.40 GHz Turbo). Are you still seeing $270?

Seeing this deal, I probably should not have bought the 17" Omen laptop with 2TB nvme , 32G ram i9-13900HX from BH photo last week.

Man, so tempting.

The 4090 in this is the smallest in production that I'm aware of. I have a Dell OEM 3080 and this is the same thickness while only an inch longer. My 3080 is now sitting in an ITX build.

Does Dell charge a restocking fee for these PCs? What if it's not opened and i decide to return it?

My understanding is that if it's for personal use there is no restocking fee. I'm using mine now for 30 days to see if it's worth it.

Nice which config did you get? How's the noise level with the AIO cooler?
