Have you considered contacting LG to see if their manufacturer warranty covers it?
Didn't want the hassle and the TV had way too many hours on it anyway. I didn't I didn't buy a TV to have to frustrate myself with warranty issues right off the bat wasn't worth the money.
On a side note I see you may be in Tucson. if you want to go get the return television it's at the Oro Valley Target returned it last night.
I was told that it came with Target's standard return policy and comes with 2 year LG warranty from date of purchase
I got the floor model, which was an additional 30% off, so I got the 65" for $700, but no return, and no warranty from Target. I was able to register the TV with LG though, and im probably gonna get a plan from square.

What if they say tomorrow within 1 months of use how did you amass so many hours on the tv? I know people are taking chances , but someone needs to break tv by tomorrow to have confidence buying the floor model

Good move. Buying display TVs is huge gamble. Everyone has choice. you still paying approx. $700 with 30% off. If things go south still you have to call LG, follow up and waste of lot of time.

Appreciate it, I was actually considering the display model near my house on the south west side of town. You plan on checking out the other locations?

For what it's worth, LG replaced the panel on my 65C1 almost 18 months after the warranty expired. TV looks brand new now. Just had it done a few days ago. Customer service is top notch.
No I hadn't bought it yet, I went to two targets. First one I found the last nib 55" for 749.99 so I bought it, and had to go home to get my wife's SUV. Decided to go to another target first and found that they had 1 65" left they didn't even have in the system and told me I was lucky as it would show oos in the system if anyone looked. At this point the guy on here had texted me his receipt and I got a manager and made up some B's story about it being staggered inventory and the impending extra clearance. He acknowledged it and said I'll do it for you since we are trying to get them out ... Thanked him a few times and purchased. I definitely got lucky. The other manager told me to come back when/if that impending sale hits and he will price adjust the 55" for me.... It's definitely ymmv, and I guess I got two really nice managers.
So I have been to my target a few times this past week with no luck. Today they have a 65" marked at 1499 in box on the floor. Do you guys think it's a display model? Not marked as such but how did it just show up? Might buy and try to adjust later

In my experience, Target wouldn't put a return or demo on the floor without marking it down. It should obvious from the tape on the box if it was opened. Most stores don't save empty boxes of floor models due to fire hazard reasons.
